Zomad Hostels

a wonderful stay at Zomad Hostel in Auroville! The property is exceptionally clean and hygienic, which made the stay super comfortable. What truly stood out, though, was the people—everyone was incredibly warm, welcoming, and hospitable from day one. It has a great vibe, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Pondicherry/Auroville!

Had an amazing time at Zomad Hostels. It's located at walkable distance from Auroville Visitor's Centre and has very comfortable rooms and spaces. I had a lovely time meeting a motley of people from different walks of life, playing games and exploring Auroville. We had fun visiting beach on full moon night, participating in drums circle, etc. Sai, Ram and the Akkas are extremely warm and welcoming and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Would recommend 10/10 for solo and group travellers alike.

Very friendly volunteers and my host Sai. Every guest who stayed added something different. I usually struggle to speak to new people but here everyone was approachable because that’s the vibe this place creates. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and the other guests also maintained them really well. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to come back when work allows. In the evenings we played games around a bonfire and it was really special for me.

His recommendations are always spot on! If you want a stay that is fun, social, and perfectly guided, I highly suggest Zomad. I’ll definitely be coming back!
