Young Monks Hostel Dharamshala

Had a wonderful stay at Young Monk Hostel, Dharamkot! The vibe was incredibly cheerful and welcoming. What truly stood out was the staff—they went out of their way to help with everything and made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Their warmth and willingness to assist really made a difference. Thank you, Young Monk team, for such an amazing experience.

I was traveling alone and ended up meeting some really nice people here. The whole place has a relaxed, homely feel. The view from the café is something I’ll remember for a long time. I used to just sit there in the evening doing nothing. It’s in a quiet spot but still reachable without too much hassle. Staff is friendly and not over the top, which I liked.

Beautiful place! I stayed in the deluxe room, it was a bit small for the price range but very clean, and the bathroom was quite spacious. There was plenty of solar-heated hot water, and the balcony was a lovely spot to relax. The common area (café) was also a nice place to sit and chill. RO water was available near the kitchen, which was convenient.

Had an amazing stay at Young Monk hostel. The place is calm, clean, and surrounded by beautiful views. The staff was extremely supportive and made the stay feel warm and comfortable. The music night with live jamming was a beautiful bonus and created unforgettable vibes.

I recently visited Dharamkot and stayed at the Young Monk Hostel, and honestly, it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The rooms were super comfortable, but what truly stood out was how amazing the management was. They made me feel like I wasn’t away from home at all. Especially two staff members, Hanish and Om, created such a welcoming atmosphere that I genuinely felt like part of a family. The warm hospitality, the delicious food, and the personal touch in everything they did made this stay truly memorable. Hanish even took us on a trek himself and guided us around, making sure we got to see the best spots. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re heading to Dharamkot, definitely stay at Young Monk. You’ll not only find comfort, but you’ll also take home memories that will last a long time. It really felt like finding a little home away from home.
