Wabi Sabi Hostel

My third consecutive annual stay here and the experience has been consistently good each time. Vishant the hostel manager is excellent — attentive, helpful, and listens to his guests. And Chotu with his ever-present smile is one of those people who just makes the place feel warmer every time you walk past him. Rooms and washrooms are clean and well maintained. I stayed across three rooms this visit — Mercury on the first night, Pluto on the second which is great if you want quieter surroundings, and Jupiter on the third night which has balcony access and is easily the best room in the house. Vishant arranged Jupiter for me and my friends on special request, which was a lovely touch. The crowd here is the right kind of backpacker mix. First night was a bonfire, second night drinks and easy banter with fellow travellers and the third night just enjoying the sounds of the flowing river as a therapy before the return the next day morning. One thing worth knowing: if you are extending your stay, be flexible about switching rooms depending on bookings and availability. It is standard hostel practice but good to go in prepared. Overall — clean, well run, great people, good vibes. See you again next year.

This is my go to place every time I am in Kasol (Chalal). The best backpackers stay there is! It overlooks the mountain and the river, so serene and quiet. Always meet the best people here. You can go to Katagla, Rasol and Kasol from here.

Had an amazing 10days here it's was beautiful the view specially at night in born fire. Also the food was great became like a only go to place for me to have an amazing ambience and food. Had amazing moments with Vishant bhai and also played TT with hotel staff at night it was beautiful experience and enjoyed a lot like a family to me. It was my second time and I loved it even more

Really enjoyed our stay at Wabi Sabi. The rooms were clean, the service was decent, and the location is honestly too good — right in front of the river and away from the city’s hustle-bustle. We also tried food at the Wabi Sabi Café and loved it (definitely recommend the chef’s special sandwich.) Shoutout to Vishant for being super cooperative and helping us out with everything during the stay. Overall, a very comfortable and peaceful experience.

Absolutely loved the Hotel! ✨ The vibes are amazing, the ambience is warm and calming, and it’s the perfect place to relax or catch up with friends. Every corner feels thoughtfully designed. Definitely coming back again! The Hospitality by Vishant was truly amazing.
