Unplanned Hostel Udaipur

Staff was good. But we faced few problems which i would like to mention 1. It is not a place if you’re going with family for stay. We booked the hotel seeing google reviews but it was all for the live music and party. Music went on till 10:30, so not a good place to stay with family, but good for live music and partying 2. The water in bathrooms was stinking, it had bad odour, due to which we didn’t even took a bath, there. We complained twice but no actions were taken. 3. In one of our rooms, water was dripping from ac. We complained thrice, issue wasn’t fixed. 4. There was no telephone in room to call housekeeping, we had to go down and call them personally for any help needed.

Unplan Cafe is one of the best places to relax in Udaipur. The atmosphere is beautiful, the live music is incredible, and the musicians are amazingly talented. I had such a wonderful experience here that I’ll always remember. If you’re visiting Udaipur, make sure you visit Unplan Cafe. I’m confident you’ll have an unforgettable experience too. Great vibes, great music, and a perfect place to spend your evening. Highly recommended

Had an amazing time at in Udaipur! The whole vibe of this place is unreal — beautiful lake view, cozy ambience, great crowd and the perfect chill atmosphere. The food and drinks were really good, especially while enjoying the cool evening breeze with live music in the background. Their daily live music sessions are honestly the highlight of the place — full of energy, soulful Bollywood tracks and amazing artists that make the night memorable. Whether you want to relax with friends, meet new travelers or just enjoy Udaipur nightlife, this place is a must visit. Perfect combination of music, food, drinks and lakeside vibes. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Udaipur!

The overall experience was just average. The place was extremely overcrowded, and the singer was not good at all—the music was excessively loud. They are charging way too much for the overall experience. The washrooms were also extremely dirty, which is a major negative point. Overall, average

⭐ Very disappointing experience – refund still not received We visited this café on Saturday with a group of 7, including children, and paid ₹7,000 as cover charges (₹1,000 per person). Unfortunately, the experience was not what we expected. The place felt unhygienic, the seating area was quite open, and it was raining, which made it particularly uncomfortable for us with children. Our kids were also crying, so we decided not to stay. After discussing the situation with the staff/management for around 15–20 minutes, they agreed to refund our ₹7,000 and specifically promised that the refund would be processed within 24 hours. However, despite waiting beyond the promised timeframe and repeatedly trying to contact them, we still have not received the refund. Calls have also not been answered appropriately, which has made the situation even more frustrating. If you cannot provide the service or environment expected, the least you can do is honour a refund that you have already committed to. Very disappointing customer service and poor handling of the situation. I hope the management processes our ₹7,000 refund instead of making customers repeatedly follow up for money they were promised back.
