The Social Stays Mussoorie

I stayed at this property for 4 nights and my experience was consistently unpleasant. The hotel may look appealing on the surface, but the reality is extremely poor. Key issues I faced: 1) Cleanliness • Bedsheets appeared unwashed and unhygienic. •Comforter was mouldy to the point of being a health hazard. •Pillows and curtains reeked of mildew and were visibly dirty. •Washroom was unclean, bolts were difficult to open, and the walls bore grime and filth. 2) Facilities & Maintenance: •Toilet seat cover refused to stay upright. •Faucets were either dysfunctional or poorly maintained. • The false ceiling over the bed was cracked and the ceiling over the vanity was leaking water •The overall upkeep of the room was abysmal—everything looked presentable at first glance but crumbled under the slightest scrutiny. 3) Service Standards: •Room service was consistently late, indifferent, and unhelpful. •Their room service app failed to process even basic food orders. The only redeeming factor was the front desk and reception staff, who were polite and helpful despite the chaos elsewhere. Overall Experience: Staying here felt less like being in a hotel and more like being trapped in a glorified dumpster dressed up with wallpaper. The property is all show and no substance the most saddening part is that there is no glaring problem with the property itself, it's just the lack of maintenance and upkeep that keeps this property from being a pleasant experience. Images have been attached with this review to corroborate my claims. I hope this acts as a wake up call to the management and the staff and make social stays a socially acceptable stay.

Had a really nice stay at Social Stays Mussoorie Hostel. The place is peaceful and quiet perfect if you just want to relax and enjoy the mountains. The view from the property is honestly the best part absolutely beautiful, especially during sunrise and sunset

Great stay with beautiful mountain views and a peaceful location. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the calm vibe and the common areas. A perfect place to relax away from the crowd. Would definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful and comfortable stay at the hostel! The view from the balcony and the rooms is amazing. The atmosphere was clean, peaceful, and homely — everything you’d want for a relaxing visit. A special thanks to Shivam for being so helpful, polite, and always available whenever needed. He made sure everything was taken care of perfectly. Also, special mention to Narendra Rawat ji for his warm hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a pleasant, well-maintained, and friendly stay! 🌸
