I recently stayed at Social Stay in Kasol and had an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavourful, and way better than I expected. Every meal felt homely and thoughtfully prepared. What truly made the stay special was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. Overall, Social Stay offers great vibes, great food, and even greater hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kasol!

I had an incredible experience at social stays Kasol. The view from the rooms is truly breathtaking. The staff is super warm and available for all your concerns. It’s also very well connected. It’s right by the river which is a huge plus. Very few properties provide such a direct access. A huge thank you to Munish, Sravan, Sanju, Dishu, Rahul, Monish, Himanshu, Samrat and Abhishek!! The place has a welcoming vibe especially for artists. They have another hostel (garden view) nearby so you can that as well. They have an internal road which connects them both. The food is pretty tasty. The chicken pizza was 10/10, mad filling. The cheese Maggie is also nice. The momos are an absolute must-have on their menu! Made by Nepali women, the chicken momos have this incredibly juicy filling that is perfectly seasoned and unbelievably comforting in this weather. Paired with the river view and pine forest around you, the whole experience just hits different!! A few things to keep in mind for us visitors would be to keep the area, rooms relatively clean. Don’t keep food items in the open since we’re still in the wild and could attract things. A lot of the guests were also littering the place near the river which was really disappointing. A lot of Kasol is under construction so it does get a little dry and dusty because of the open cement sites but I’m sure this is a temporary thing. If I ever find myself in Kasol again, I will definitely be staying here!
Amazing food prepared by chef....what a taste... We didn't get that much taste anywhere in kasol. The biggest advantage is the riverside location. Worth staying... Cooperative staff. The only disadvantage is they didn't provide room heater. We liked the property. We highly recommend this social stays .
Let me give you a detailed review about The social Stays Kasol. First things first, property is absolutely fantastic, neat and clean with an amazing view of mountains and river. But the location is bit inside from the main market which is a bit difficult to navigate in night. They have an amazing parking, you can bring your traveller as well inside the narrow lanes and park it here. They have dormitories in 4,6 & 10 combinations. And then normal rooms. Although they have a process of we check in which is bit tiring thing to do as a first thing when you reach the property. Also I don’t why they ask your next place to travel in web check in. Boys there are really helpful. They have water filters outside the rooms and they have shoe racks as well. You can walk to the market from the hotel and you can walk down to river as well to spend sometime there. They also serve breakfast with a limited menu.
