Our travelers have stories to tell and memories to share. From unforgettable stays to warm hospitality, hear how we’ve made their journeys specials.

We booked The Social Stays for a week-long workation for our group, hoping for a peaceful and productive stay. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations. To begin with, the property is located about 500 meters off the main road, and the connecting path is extremely narrow and muddy. Reaching the hotel itself was inconvenient, especially for larger vehicles. Once we settled in, we quickly realized that mobile network connectivity was almost nonexistent. Only Airtel users could get a faint signal, and even that wasn’t reliable. The biggest drawback for us since we were here for work was the Wi-Fi. It was highly unstable, often showing full signal strength but no internet access. And when it did work, speeds rarely crossed 10 Mbps. This made remote work impossible, forcing us to find and work from a coworking space outside the property from the very first day. The property also appears to be short-staffed. Our room was not cleaned regularly, which we didn’t mind much, but it’s worth noting for anyone expecting prompt housekeeping. One of the most concerning issues was the hygiene of the swimming pool. The water was not chlorinated, nor was it changed during our stay. We even saw frogs in the pool on multiple days. It was unsettling to imagine guests using this unmaintained water for swimming. However, the worst experience occurred during the last days of our stay. Water supply to our washrooms suddenly stopped during the night. We informed the property owner first thing in the morning. When the staff tried to start the borewell pump, it burned out. With guests anxiously waiting to use the washroom, the staff made an extremely unhygienic decision: to pump water from the swimming pool into the washroom tanks. Using untreated, visibly dirty pool water in taps was simply unacceptable. We refused to use this water and had to request help from a neighboring hotel, which kindly allowed us to use their washrooms for free. Although we had already booked an extension for another night, we canceled it immediately after this incident. Overall, while the property might have potential, the lack of proper maintenance, unreliable connectivity, severe hygiene lapses, and poor crisis management made our stay very disappointing. I hope the management seriously addresses these issues for future guests.

The staff bangs at your door in the middle of the night and constantly calls you if you don’t open up! If only they had an option of negative stars, I would give it a -5. Girls and solar travellers, please be aware. This is not where you want to be. Obviously, the ratings and reviews have been bought and Any content on the social media that you see here are not true. Firstly, I’ll talk about the approach, so there’s a very Narrow path, this is not a Road. It’s a path that takes you to the stay. There are so many potholes That you will probably break your back if you’re up for off roading Then this is the place for you, but if you want to stay safe, and if you want to enjoy your time in Goa, you should definitely avoid this place. The staff is beyond your imagination . They have harassed me in the middle of the night. And when I try to complain, there is no contact for me to reach out to. They will not help you. They will make sure that you feel unsafe and helpless. The rooms are not great. The AC doesn’t work, The fan will not let you sleep Plus, they don’t have a parking space, so if you’re getting your car, there is no scope for you to Park, whereas in their facilities they have mentioned open parking space which is so not true. I paid a premium price for the room and not the dorm, and they have just ruined my two days, stay at Morjim. The staff will not help you, no matter what they will not guide you, and they just don’t know how to run a hotel Location – horrible Service – Pathetic! beyond rude! Rooms - smelly and the doors don’t get locked

We had visited here when the property was managed by ArtBuzz and I must say it was well maintained and staff was really friendly. We visited this property yesterday and major point that I would like to highlight is staff is really unfriendly. This property is pet friendly and I have a small shihtzu who pooped outside near the garden. The staff made faces and asked us to remove the poop 10 times even though I asked them to give me 5 mins to finish my work call. Secondly, In the morning we wanted a dental kit. When we went to ask or request if they have any they answered so rudely as if they are doing us a favour running this place. Disgusting restaurant service. They took 1 hours to prepare 1 sandwich and omelette. When we asked for boiled egg they told us it’s ready and then they were like we lied and never kept it for preparation. They also manipulated one order and added extra sandwich which we refused to pay to which later they agreed they it was their mistake

Stayed at Social Stays, Morjim recently. Service was good and check-in was smooth. Reception wasn’t always manned, but the staff was available on call and responsive. Room service was quick and the pool seemed clean. That said, a few things to be aware of: The approach road is almost non-existent. The last 500 meters feel like off-roading, and since it’s a narrow one-way stretch, cars often have to reverse during rush hours. The rooms are showing signs of wear. Paint is peeling, bedsheets and towels (though laundered) are old, and the property in general is starting to slip into disrepair. Pictures online look better than the current state of the property.

Rahul, was extremely good with his service and made sure everything was well taken care of. The stay was nice, comfortable, and very relaxing. The pool and views were really beautiful, adding to the overall experience. The place is well-maintained and very hygienic, which made the stay even better. Would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway! 🌿✨
