I stayed here for the past two days and really enjoyed the experience. The entire staff is very friendly; Ashish's team is excellent. The café staff is also great, and they prepare delicious food. I highly recommend this place. It’s a five-star experience—if I could give 10 stars, I would. Definitely. I do have a one complaint here. the café remains closed from 2 PM to 5 PM. However, the café staff isn't to blame for this; there are only two of them. They work from morning till night, so they need a break too. There should be a staff of at least four people—two for the 7 AM to 3 PM shift and the rest for the 3 PM to 11 PM shift. That’s just my suggestion, though; the choice is yours. Thank you so much!
Rooms :- they were clean at the time of check in after that it was bad they took almost 4 days to clean the dorm and change the linen. Toilets were dirty bad smell, broken seats, no soap. Beds are also not comfortable too small my legs were heading out, the lamp was brokenhearted charging port was not working. Cafe on the rooftop:- very bad and unhygienic no gloves no hairnets i found hair in my food twice, only reason i got when i asked for things aloo khatam hey no paratha milk is over no coffee, cheese is not there had worst experience of my life. Overall:- i was like some problems are caused by customers as well so asked them to upgrade my room from dorm to private i was willing to pay the whole amount 15k something for a week just my concern was can we adjust the leftover amount from my dorm booking to room it was something 3k for a week, they gave me so many reasons that this can’t be done i said i am upgrading my room and raising a whole new booking and paying full amount still they refused end of the day i left the place and booked somewhere else. Message to social stays Dehradun:- If the owners can read or see my review its not your fault it’s completely management’s fault they are so bad, anyways i am not going to ask any refund to be honest i think whatever they got free from my leftover stay please put it into fixing things (teach your staff manners please and teach kitchen staff some hygiene standards) To people who are reading this:- Please double check and stay don’t waste your money like i did Thank you
I had a really good time at Social Stays in Dehradun! The rooftop common area is fantastic—perfect for chilling, playing foosball, and enjoying the great night views of the city. They make exploring super easy with bike rentals available right on-site and a handy board listing local attractions. My private room was very clean, modern, and comfortable, equipped with everything I needed like AC and a good TV. Overall though, it’s a wonderful spot with a great vibe!
Very beautiful property budget friendly very nice staff. Kuldip is one of them who carries everything and help us a lot. must visit! value for money place.
I am a traveler, and this is my seventh visit to Dehradun, this is the best area in the city Canal Road and you won't find a better stay anywhere else in Dehradun. The staff here is incredibly friendly—truly top-notch. The food is delicious, the rooms are very clean, and the atmosphere is excellent. The location is great, it’s just a couple of minutes away from Rajpur Road. I really like it here, I always stay here whenever I visit dehradun or near by .When I visited for the first time, I discovered that Social Stay has more than seven branches. Subsequently, I visited all of them. Every branch is top-notch, offering number-one services. Thanks, Social Stay Dehradun.
