Overall great hostel! The guys at reception are all kind and welcoming! They really do try to make your stay the best! They are efficient and inviting to guests (even when you're a foreigner)! Service 100/100. The private room had minor issues (internet is not always stable and the kettle was a bit dirty) but these are minor.
I stayed here solo for 2 days, and overall it was an average experience. I’d rate it around 2.8/5. 📍 Location & Area: The location is actually quite convenient 👍. It’s close to Laxman Jhula (around 5–10 minutes walking distance), so exploring nearby cafés and markets is easy. The area has a nice, lively vibe. 🏍️ Bike Rental: They do provide bike rentals, which is helpful, but the pricing didn’t feel consistent. 🛏️ Rooms & Stay: Rooms were average. Dorms felt a bit compact and facilities need better maintenance. Cleanliness was decent but not impressive. 👨💼 Staff & Service: Staff was a mix 🙂 — some were friendly and helpful, while others felt a bit unprofessional when handling issues. 🚗 Parking: Parking is difficult. You’ll have to manage creatively, though staff may help if you ask. 🔥 What was really good: The best part was definitely the location and overall vibe 👍. Being so close to Laxman Jhula and surrounded by cafés made the stay convenient and enjoyable. ❌ What was really bad: The worst part was the inconsistency in service and facilities — especially things like pricing, maintenance, and overall management. It didn’t feel very smooth. 💰 Value for Money: Okay for budget travelers, but not great considering the issues. ⭐ Overall: Good for a short solo stay if your priority is location, but not ideal if you expect comfort and proper management.
Huge thanks to Front Desk Manager Hemant Pruthi for going above and beyond with his hospitality. I had accidentally left my AirPods behind, and he personally cooperated to get them couriered back to me — even driving around 4 km to help with it. Truly humble, kind, and extremely helpful throughout. Rarely come across such genuine customer service these days. Really appreciate the effort and support!
After a long trek, I booked a Private Deluxe Room here for two days, but the experience was highly disappointing. While this property offers both hostel beds and private rooms, I expected a certain level of basic facilities for 5,000 INR per night. There was no consistent hot water; it would run out before I could even finish washing my hair. When I raised this with the staff, they were dismissive, first claiming there was no issue, then saying it was fixed—which it never was. Finally, a staff member suggested we wait 15–30 minutes between each person's shower, which is unacceptable for a "deluxe" room. The room quality was poor: towels were stained (one even had holes), several charging sockets were broken, and the switches were worn out. Furthermore, they used predatory booking tactics; despite Agoda's "pay at hotel" policy, they threatened to cancel my booking unless I paid via a QR code outside the platform. To top it off, they increased the scooter rental price overnight from 500 to 600 INR. The final frustration was the checkout process. We were further delayed because the person in charge was unreachable, and the only staff available was a new joiner who wasn't empowered to make any decisions or address our complaints. It is a poorly managed business that isn't worth the headache. There are many better options just steps away.
Pros- Safe for solo travel Good location Good staff Cons- - Rooms were smaller than the pictures on the website - No regular cleaning for private rooms despite asking twice. - Bedsheets and quilt had cigarette burns on them. - Non smoking floor smelled of cigarettes ( not the property’s fault but the guests should be kept in check)
