☔ Everything right from the moment of check-in till check out we had a smooth process. ☔ Talking about the location it's perfectly approved nearby lift which is convienient for tourists around shimla. ☔ Timings of the lift is 8am to 10pm The property has its own restaurant at second floor with reasonable prices. ☔ Breakfast and dinner is served but lunch isn't available in restaurant. ☔ It has Wi-Fi, Geyser, Lift and other basic amenities. ☔ The property host were sweet and arranged for cab facilitaties and sight seeing on request ☔Perfect for a short stay and location is very good with cozy rooms and helpful staff
Stayed at Shalom Backpackers with my mom and it turned out to be such a comfortable and peaceful stay. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, making us feel relaxed throughout our time there. The staff was warm, polite, and always ready to help, which made the overall experience even better. The atmosphere of the place was calm and welcoming, perfect for both family stay and travelers looking for comfort. From hospitality to cleanliness, everything was managed really well. Truly a lovely experience that made our trip even more memorable.
I had a wonderful two-night stay at Shalom Backpackers Shimla. One of the biggest advantages of this property is its excellent location as it's just about 50 meters from the lift to the Mall Road, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. There are also multiple parking facilities available right in front of the property, which is a huge plus for anyone traveling by car/scooty. Most of Shimla's major attractions are easily accessible from here. I stayed in a private room, which was comfortable, well-maintained, and cleaned promptly. The bathroom was spacious and added to the overall comfort of the stay. The reception staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist whenever needed. The hostel also has multiple common rooms that provide great spaces to relax or socialize with fellow travelers. To top it all off, the breakfast served at their café was absolutely delicious. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would definitely recommend Shalom Backpackers Shimla to anyone looking for a comfortable, conveniently located, and welcoming place to stay in Shimla.
Had an amazing stay at Shalom Backpackers, and I highly recommend it for solo travelers, trekkers, and backpackers, safe for Female Solo Travellers.......with clean and well-maintained dorms that made me feel completely comfortable throughout my stay. Staff are incredibly warm and welcoming.... A special thanks to Mr. Vinod and Mr. Ramesh at the reception for helping me with recommendations, local sightseeing, scooter rentals, transport options, and great food. Their guidance made my Shimla trip much easier and more enjoyable. The hostel has a great social vibe with common areas featuring board games, carrom, and a pool table, making it easy to meet fellow travelers. The café serves delicious food, and while the prices are average as per Shimla market but options are amazing, I forgot name of Cafe Cheff, but he is so full of empathy & care.....Overall, Shalom backpackers offers excellent value for money, a friendly atmosphere, and a safe, memorable experience.
Loved my stay at Shalom backpackers. Great location -It's stone throw away from the old bus stop. The manager was very helpful and prompt. And the views! They have lounge and balconies on almost every floor offering fantastic views of Shimla. The room was clean with all amenities. 100% recommend to all!
