I had a wonderful stay at Shalom Hostel in Jaipur. The hostel has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location is convenient, making it easy to explore the city and its attractions. A special mention goes to the host, Chiranjivi, who was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. He made sure every guest felt at home and was always ready to assist with local recommendations and any questions. His hospitality truly made the experience memorable. I highly recommend Shalom Hostel to anyone visiting Jaipur and looking for a comfortable place with great vibes and exceptional hospitality. Looking forward to staying here again!
A fantastic hostel; the room was lovely. We booked a double room, and it felt just like staying in a hotel! Mr. Kailash at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The location is also superb—right next to the Hawa Mahal. The price is great, too! The luggage storage facility came in very handy on our last day. There is also a rooftop here, where we enjoyed watching the sunset.
Shalom Backpackers Jaipur had one of the best rooftop views ever — especially at night, the whole vibe was just beautiful. The food was also very tasty and full of flavour. The only funny issue was the rice portion 😭 it was a little too small for us, so we had to order another bowl immediately. But honestly, because the food tasted so good, we didn’t even mind it that much. The staff was polite and helpful throughout our time there, which made the experience even better. We actually didn’t stay overnight because we are travelling by bike and had to continue our journey towards Amritsar. So after spending some relaxing time there, eating good food, and enjoying the rooftop view, we checked out around 11 PM and got back on the road again 🏍️✨
If you are visiting Jaipur, this is one of the best places to stay; the atmosphere here is excellent, and it truly offers the vibe of a top-notch tourist destination. The staff—particularly Mr. Kailash—are very pleasant and friendly. Moreover, this place is budget-friendly and equipped with all the essential amenities required for a comfortable stay. The café located on the top floor is magnificent and serves as a perfect spot to unwind after a tiring day of sightseeing.
I have stayed in shalom for more then 10 days. The rooms are clean and spacious. You feel free in the property. The food is fine and the terrace part is quite cool. Mr Ujjal is really helpful. Overall great experience.
