Our travelers have stories to tell and memories to share. From unforgettable stays to warm hospitality, hear how we’ve made their journeys specials.

If you’re heading to Manali and want more than just a bed, Safar Hostel is your spot. The vibe is chill, the people are welcoming, and the views are straight out of a postcard. Whether you’re sipping chai on the terrace, swapping travel stories by the bonfire, or just soaking in the mountain air, Safar makes you feel right at home. It’s the kind of place that makes you stay longer than you planned. Warm smiles, helping hands, and homely vibes the Safar Hostel team makes you feel like family. 💛🏔️

This was my third trip to Manali, and I can surely say this is one of the best and budget-friendly stays I've had. The location is about 3km from the bus stand, but it's well worth it. The owner and staff are very hospitable and welcoming. The food here is so good and homecooked; it feels like you are eating high-quality, and hygienic food. We loved it so much that we even came back for dinner after we checked out, just for the taste and quality!

Safar was referred to me by a friend who had stayed here a couple of times, and he spoke very highly of it. After my own stay, I can completely relate to his words. The location is beautiful with great views, but what truly makes Safar special are the hosts, Ali and Sanchita. They are warm and friendly, and within just a few days they feel more like friends than owners. Their whole idea is that whoever stays here should feel at home—a home away from home. The atmosphere, vibe and people make you want to stay longer. Safar is not just a hostel to stay, it’s an experience that stays with you even after you leave.

Well home it is! I went to Safar in May 2025, and it's already been over 5 months. You live life to the fullest, meet new people, and go to spontaneous Friday night bonfires by the river. You get to see magical sunrises. You have a caring staff who cooks amazing food for you. The rooms are Pinterest-perfect and totally affordable! And the owners make sure you discover a whole new meaning to life. What more could you ask for?

Safar Hostel, Manali truly feels like a home away from home. The vibe is warm, cozy, and instantly welcoming — it’s the kind of place where conversations flow, time slows down, and you just feel at ease. Everything about the hostel makes you want to stay longer, from the homely atmosphere to the thoughtful way it’s run. We stayed for 3 days, but it felt like so much more — magical, comforting, and unforgettable. If you’re in Manali and looking for more than just a place to stay, Safar Hostel is the perfect choice.
