Rainbow Linings Hostel Palolem Goa

Super duper great hostel, with incredible social vibes. The owner (Nelson) is wonderful and super accomodating. He helped give us recommendations on where to go for sightseeing, gave contacts for motor bike rentals and also had incredible food recommendations (like absolutely stunning food recommendations) The beds and dorm are clean, and the ensuite bathroom in the 10 bed dorm is pristine. The stairs up to the bunks are convenient (stair type inside of ladder type). The social vibes with the large shared table out front is where the magic happens, and would highly recommend sitting yourself there for a while to have a chat. Will meet incredible people. The bed… can be a bit short, and the blanket thin. You can ask the staff for more blankets/thicker blankets which can help your sleep go a lot further. I also really love the no shoe policy inside the dormitory, makes everything super clean. And the location of the hostel is great too, short walk to Palolem Beach and great food within a 5-10 minute walk. The hostel also helps to do laundry too which is super helpful and also sells beer at the bar. Overall, would 100% come back again

I was there for two weeks and my experience has been really amazing. Nelson has been an amazing host. The hostel is really good and is situated about 5-10 minutes of walking distance from Palolem Beach. Rooms were well maintained and toilets were regularly cleaned. They also provide toilet rolls and also have laundry service in-house. They also have lockers assigned for each bed. There's a space for people who are on a workation in the common area. I've had an amazing time during my stay with the people coming in there as well. The hostel also has space for parking.

Fantastic hostel. Within an hour here I understood why it had such good reviews from so many people. Nelson, the owner, goes above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating. I believe he is one of the main reasons the hostel has such a good vibe ☀️ - nice vibe - safe - clean rooms - next door to yoga studio - short walk from the beach

Definitely one of the best hostel experiences I’ve had in the last 3 years of travel. Very kind people with Loy always ready to help out with all of ones questions and needs to be well during your stay in Palolem. They really make a big effort towards creating a nice community to not only feel comfortable staying there but also being a part of the fam at Rainbow. I highly recommend if one is looking to connect with other travelers.

We reached at 9 am, the place was run down, not like the pictures in Hostelworld and when we asked if we can go to a toilette there was one dirty toilette with poo inside. We told the owner that we don’t want to stay here and he said we still have to pay and got really mad at us. He took a picture of us without asking. We told him the place doesn’t look like on the pictures and is dirty and he didn’t accept our complaint and said it’s not his fault that the toilet is not clean and flushed.
