Stayed here for a couple of days and had a really good experience overall. The hostel is clean, the dorms are comfortable, and the washrooms were maintained properly throughout my stay. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever I needed anything, and the overall atmosphere was quite relaxed. It was easy to meet other travellers in the common area, which made the stay even better. The food at the café was good, and the property itself is peaceful if you're looking to take a break from the busy parts of Rishikesh. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the location. It's quite far from the main tourist spots like Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula, so you'll need a scooter or taxi almost every time you want to go out. If you're someone who likes staying close to the action, this might be a little inconvenient. Other than that, I genuinely enjoyed my stay. It's a nice, clean hostel with a good vibe, and I'd definitely consider staying here again.

Vibrant Atmosphere: Led by community managers, the shared lounge, cafe, and terrace create an excellent social hub for solo travelers and groups looking to network. The Accommodations & Comfort The property offers a mix of spacious, soundproofed private family rooms and neat, air-conditioned mixed dormitories. Guests frequently praise the large beds and cozy setups. The Catch While the hostel offers great value, recent traveler reviews note a few consistency issues. Peak-season crowds occasionally strain the management, leading to delays in food service at the restaurant and occasional maintenance hiccups with the Wi-Fi or property lift. The indoor pool, while scenic, is also on the smaller side. The Verdict: If you are a backpacker or group of friends seeking a lively, amenity-rich base camp to explore Rishikesh's yoga hubs and rafting, Moustache Luxuria is an excellent, highly recommended choice. We had a fantastic stay at Moustache Rishikesh. The property was clean, comfortable, and full of positive energy. The staff was courteous, friendly, and always willing to assist. Although there was no Ganga view from the hotel, the property offered a beautiful scenic view that made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. One of the highlights was the excellent game zone, where we had a great time playing pool and other indoor games. It was a perfect place to unwind and have fun with family. The rooms were well-maintained, the ambience was lively, and the overall hospitality was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Rishikesh. Looking forward to visiting again!

Overall Rating: 2/5 (Mixed Experience with Unprofessional Service) The Good: Spacious Rooms: The rooms were decent, comfortable, and offered plenty of space. Good Food: The quality and taste of the food served at the hotel were definitely a highlight. The Bad (Areas for Major Improvement): Unprofessional and Rude Staff: The staff's behavior was very disappointing and argumentative, completely lacking the hospitality expected of a 4-star hotel. Housekeeping Delays & Excuses: We were told our room would be cleaned at 2:00 PM, but they delayed it to 3:00 PM. When we brought this up, they actually argued with us, claiming that "2:00 doesn't mean exactly 2:00." Mishandled Room Allocation: When booking, we were promised rooms on the same floor. Upon arriving at night, we were split between the 1st and 3rd floors. Poor Communication: After requesting to be moved to the same floor the next day, the staff failed to call or coordinate with us. Instead, when we went to the reception for morning activities, they abruptly told us we should have had our bags packed by 10:00 AM to shift. It should be the hotel's responsibility to call and assist guests with an agreed-upon room transfer. Broken Amenities: The right-side elevator (lift) was out of order during our stay, causing unnecessary inconvenience. Lacking Entertainment: The game zone is poorly maintained and is currently missing several games. Conclusion: While the property itself has good food and decent rooms, the poor management, broken amenities, and rude staff completely ruined the experience. I expected much better service from a 4-star property.

I had a very disappointing experience at this resort. The room was extremely small and not worth the high price charged. The bathroom had a foul smell throughout our stay, and several bathroom fittings and room items were broken or poorly maintained. The swimming pool was very dirty and clearly not cleaned regularly, making it unpleasant to use. The service quality was poor, with staff showing little concern for guest comfort or satisfaction. For the amount they charge, I expected far better facilities and maintenance. There were hardly any amenities or recreational activities available. Even basic outdoor games like cricket, badminton, or other family-friendly activities were missing, making the stay quite boring. Overall, this resort is seriously overpriced for what it offers. Poor cleanliness, inadequate maintenance, lack of activities, and disappointing service made this one of the worst resort experiences I've had. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
