Moustache Delhi

Extremely disappointing and misleading experience with Moustache Delhi. I would strongly advise travelers to be cautious before booking here. I made a booking early morning on 26 May 2026 while travelling to Delhi, assuming that since the booking was being accepted instantly with full advance payment, I would at least be accommodated reasonably upon arrival. However, when I reached the property in the morning after travelling, I was bluntly told that I would have to wait till 1 PM due to their “check-in policy.” What was more frustrating was the completely insensitive attitude of the staff. Despite repeatedly requesting them to consider an early check-in considering my situation, I was told: “Agar aapka karenge toh sabka karna padega” and “hamare yaha staff kam hai.” There was absolutely no effort to help, no hospitality, and no basic empathy toward a tired traveler. The biggest issue is that the check-in timing was not properly disclosed at the time of booking through Agoda. It appears intentionally hidden or poorly displayed so that travelers making early morning bookings end up paying the full amount in advance while being denied accommodation for several hours. This feels extremely deceptive and unfair. I immediately contacted Agoda and requested a refund because the property was refusing to accommodate me despite taking full payment. However, Agoda informed me that Moustache Delhi refused the refund request and wanted to strictly rely on their policy. Policies are understandable, but transparency and basic customer handling matter too. Taking full payment from exhausted travelers in the morning while refusing check-in, refusing refund, and showing zero flexibility is simply unethical hospitality practice. This experience genuinely felt more like a scam than a professional hostel service. Definitely not recommended for travelers arriving early morning or anyone expecting humane treatment and transparency.

**1/5 – Very Poor Experience** I regret booking my stay at Moustache Delhi. The experience was disappointing from the moment I arrived. The hostel did not feel like a comfortable or well-managed place. The terrace and outdoor seating areas were often occupied by people smoking cigarettes, and there were instances where people appeared to be using weed and playing card games for money in the common areas. It wasn't the kind of environment I expected. The staff were not courteous or accommodating. Instead of being helpful, they seemed indifferent whenever assistance was needed. Food prices were another major issue. The menu is far too expensive for what is served, making it feel overpriced compared to similar hostels in Delhi. Overall, the poor atmosphere, lack of attentive staff, and high food prices made this a disappointing stay. I wouldn't choose this hostel again or recommend it based on my experience.

I had a very disappointing experience at Moustache Delhi and would not recommend it. The common areas, including the outdoor swing (jhula) seating and the terrace, had people openly smoking cigarettes, consuming what appeared to be weed, and playing gambling/card games. This created an uncomfortable and unsafe environment for guests who were looking for a peaceful stay. The staff were also unprofessional and came across as rude whenever I approached them with concerns. Instead of addressing the issues, they seemed uninterested in maintaining a comfortable atmosphere for all guests. Another major downside was the food pricing. The food and beverages were significantly overpriced for the quality and quantity offered. It felt like guests were being overcharged unnecessarily. Overall, poor management, lack of discipline in common areas, rude staff, and expensive food made this one of the worst hostel experiences I've had. I would suggest looking for better alternatives if you're planning to stay in Delhi.

This place is amazing to stay. Great vibes, good people and easy accessibility to a lot of brilliant places to eat, travel, explore and roam. The rooms and toilets are clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Moustache is definitely a first choice for me when I come to Delhi to stay. It also is very safe for girls, especially solo travellers. Have multiple choices in common areas to work, meet people and simple hang out for fun. I have already stayed here multiple times. Highly recommend the place!

My experience at Moustache Delhi was far below expectations. The hostel's common spaces, including the terrace and outdoor seating area, were frequently occupied by people smoking cigarettes, using what appeared to be weed, and playing gambling/card games in the open. It made the environment feel uncomfortable rather than welcoming. The staff were not helpful when concerns were raised and their attitude felt dismissive and unfriendly. Customer service definitely needs improvement. The food is another disappointment. The prices are much higher than what the quality and portion sizes justify, making it poor value for money. Overall, the lack of proper management, uncomfortable atmosphere, unfriendly staff, and overpriced food made this a regrettable stay. There are much better accommodation options available in Delhi.
