Had a fantastic experience at Molly's Hostel! From check-in to checkout, the entire stay was comfortable and smooth. We took the quad room for 2 days and were pleasantly surprised by the spacious room and amenities offered, despite being a budget hostel. The room was very comfortable, having two seperate queen size beds along with AC, and a clean fully functional bathroom. Plenty of towels and dentistry kits were provided along with complementary water. The staff were superb and always helpful in accomodating our requests. The small restaurant in house was also tasty, despite the considerable wait for the food. Public areas were well maintained and had nice lighting. Parking is available for cars and bikes.
Location is perfect too as it is within walking distance of Aaliyirakkam beach and in a quiet and peaceful area of Varkala.
For the price we paid, we definitely received a product and service worth far more! Kudos to the team at Molly's!
I had the best time at Molly's - the location, the people, the vibe - 100/10. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy. The staff and volunteers who work here are all amazing and ensure to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You will leave with your heart full and a lot of wonderful wholesome memories. Would 100% recommend this to anyone visiting Varkala :)
We had a pleasant experience at the Molly's. We have booked apartment 3 for 5 people. The rooms are clean and the service is good. Staff are very nice people. Especially the vibe here is a plus+++. It's just walkable distance to aliyarikkum beach which is clean and feels like a private beach with less crowd. This is also very near to cafe sarwa.
They have also got an in house cafe with good food. The reception staff are polite and service is top notch.
Much recommended for friend groups or families. You will love this place.

We had a fantastic stay at Molly’s. The beach is close by, and there’s a café nearby called Trip Is Life, which is a lovely bonus. The hostel is tucked away in a peaceful spot, perfect if you want to slow down and relax.
I’d recommend booking a quadruple room since it gives you more privacy and comes with an attached washroom. The dorms are nice too and well maintained. One thing we really loved was the daily activities. Everyone comes together for things like salsa dancing, movie nights, trips to Munroe Island, playing mafia, and more. It makes the place feel lively without being chaotic.
Overall, the vibe is warm and calm, and we had a genuinely wonderful stay. Plus, having a kitchen of their own is super convenient
