Good hostel if you're looking for a low budget place to stay with friendly staff and mixed crowd. The location itself is not bad, we were four girls, and it pretty safe to walk even around 3 am. The cleanliness is okay-ish but stay was somewhat cosy and pretty, so altogether it was a fun experience.
Hostel Mantra is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in Mumbai! The place is super clean, well-maintained, and has a very chill, homely vibe. The staff are extremely friendly and always ready to help with local tips or anything you need. The common areas are cozy and make it really easy to meet fellow travelers from all over the world. The location is also great — peaceful yet well-connected to the city, with plenty of food options nearby. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are neat, and the atmosphere makes you feel safe and welcome. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly, fun, and comfortable stay in Mumbai, Hostel Mantra is definitely the place. Highly recommend!
Had a good time here, good hosts, ample space for working, good internet, lots of nooks. Great vibes. There’s a nice relaxed energy to it. The area has a strong checklist of things to do but you’ll have to slightly imaginative as it’s not spelt out and that’s where the lovely hosts come in. Highly recommend them and Pappu Sandwichwalla for some affordable bites.
Hostel Mantra was my first hostel experience in Mumbai and it was a very good stay. The price, the people, the vibe everything was expected where it felt more like a cozy home rather then a hostel. The only feedback I could give them is that there was some minute smell in the bathroom which could easily be fixed by giving a bathroom freshner!
