Louis backpackers Hostel

Came on a girls trip and all of us had a great experience. Rooms well maintained, they have a dining area, and a great view of the backwaters, with barbeque grill options too. Well equipped with all necessities including induction and utensils to cook. There are games and karoke setup to chill out in the evening! Immediate response was recieved when there were any queries.

Best hostel in kochi I have lived here for a month as a remote developer. The hostel is on the backwaters and you can witness the sunset and sunrise on both sides of the hostel. Being a digital nomad, I like peaceful places which are away from city noise and this hostel just makes it perfect although it is far fort kochi but you can take help from uber and rapido. For food you’ll need to order from Zomato or Swiggy as there are few food options near hostel. For quick delivery, only instamart works. Wifi speed is good although mobile networks are great too. Its far but well connected with Jio or airtel. Although the hostel is small with 12 beds but you will make friends here faster which is good for me since you don’t have to navigate and get social through a crowded place like other hostels. There is small shop on walking distance near hostel where you can get basic items like chips, milk and cold drinks. The caretaker mafidul is amazing guy with whom I spent the longest and had amazing time. He will get you beers in the evening and also help you with your laundry by himself. The owner Rishabh is a cool guy although I couldn’t spend much time with him due to his own travel plans. This hostel is the first place in all of my travels where I have made friends almost everyday since new people came and went. Cons: 1. Kitchen area could be better with proper ventilation using exhaust fan and space could be utilised well. 2. Caretaker keeps fishes in the same fridge which also causes a bit of smell with other foods. 3. Geyser connection with shower could be good but not a major issue

I stayed at this hostel in Kochi for a day, and it was a really pleasant experience. The location is excellent and very convenient for sightseeing, which made exploring the city much easier. The place was clean, neat, and well-maintained, creating a comfortable stay. The service was also very good, and a special mention to Mafidulhaque, who was extremely kind and helpful throughout my stay. His support really made a difference and added a personal touch to the experience. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re visiting Kochi—comfortable, affordable, and well-located!

It was a very comfortable stay. Delicious seafood was also available close to the hostel. The dorm and washroom were very clean. I had a beautiful stay surrounded by a beautiful water body, and it felt very safe. Highly recommended for solo travellers and everyone else.

I stayed at Louis Backpackers in Kochi as a solo female traveller. The hostel has a safe, warm and friendly atmosphere. It has an AC dorm and the washroom is super clean. The Wi-Fi is strong and reliable, making it perfect for a workation. The location is beautiful, right by the backwaters, which adds a calm and peaceful vibe to the stay. The owner Rishab is very helpful and welcoming and makes sure the hostel feels like home. I would highly recommend travellers to stay in this hostel.
