has one of the best common areas of any hostel I've stayed at in Mumbai — a spacious rooftop with great views, an AC workspace, and a laptop-friendly open area. Location is excellent, close to the railway station with a lively market right outside. However, the private room lacks a fridge and the overall room quality could be better for the price point. Despite the impressive rooftop, the social vibe was quiet during my stay — people were mostly minding their own business with no natural convergence point to bring guests together.

Had an awesome stay at Locomo Hostel OG Mumbai! 🔥 Super fun, chill party vibe and really good energy all around. The staff were amazing—big shoutout to the three at reception (2 girls & 1 guy), all super friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy, service was smooth, and I had a great time meeting people and hanging out. If you’re looking for a social, fun place in Mumbai, this is it! Would definitely come back 🙌

Top choice for backpackers! Right by Vile Parle station. With Tea stall, fruit shops, restaurants all nearby. Although I was there only for half a day as I had to catch a train late at night, they stay was relaxing and comfortable! The hostel managers - Sidesh and Rochelle were so kind and welcoming!! And gave me tips for my trip going to Goa as well!! 🙌 I turned up at the hostle a few hours before the Check-in time! But the managers quickly arranged for me to be able to get freshend up and relax! Will come back there in future.

Perfect place to stay in Mumbai. Easy to get to from the airports, only fifteen minutes via rickshaw or uber. Central located, and not too far from the stations and metro. Wicked rooftop, and always friendly people around. Also easy to get food nearby!

LOCOMO is so far the best place I have stayed in for 2 days. As, its very to close to Vile Parle (E) station, is makes travelling easier in Mumbai. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, so you dont have to worry about anything (24x7 available). The hostel vibe is very positive, the space is really good, specially the terrace. If you like socializing you will meet a lot amazing people here from all spaces. You might even end up making friends here :)
