Stayed at Little Bir for 4 nights in the 6-bed mixed dorm and honestly had a really good experience here. The property is clean, peaceful, well maintained, and the view from the stay is just crazy beautiful. Perfect place if you want a calm stay or even for WFH. The staff here are extremely polite and helpful. Whenever we asked for cleaning or any help, they immediately did it without any issue. The common area and cafe were also really nice, good vibe, good food, and probably some of the best coffee we had in Bir. The stay is a little away from the main market/street, but honestly it’s worth it, especially considering the pricing. Very budget friendly and still comfortable enough even for elders. Most importantly, as 2 women travellers, we genuinely felt safe here. We had an unfortunate incident where an outsider started stalking us and even booked a room here after following us. The moment we informed the manager, the staff immediately took it seriously. They shifted us to a safer private room, made sure no one could come near our room, and continuously checked if we were okay. Every employee there was extremely supportive and made us feel protected throughout the situation. Really grateful for how responsibly they handled it. Also, just to mention, Bir itself felt very safe and welcoming. The local people were genuinely kind and helpful. The issue happened because of an outsider, not because of the place or the people here. Would definitely recommend Little Bir, especially for solo travellers and women travellers looking for a safe, clean, peaceful stay with amazing views and good vibes.
Okay so it was my solo trip and I was very skeptical while choosing a hostel for me but i came through this property and booked it. The rooms are pretty decent. The common area is nice. They have a cool reception/cafe. Coincidently, they had sufi nights planned on the weekend I went (AMAZINGGG) the food is nice. The host is very helpful and friendly. Hari bhaiya was the highlight of the trip! Kaafi supportive he is! Must visit if you are looking for something away from chaos and experience peace :)
My stay at the Little Bir was excellent. Warm hospitality, great food, amazing views, met some great people and had the best time! The property is well managed and is away from the hustle of the market. Definitely recommend staying here. Special mention to Vivek whose warm hospitality and smile made each day comfortable!!
Staying at this hidden gem was easily the highlight of our trip to Bir. The property manages to feel incredibly luxurious while keeping a relaxed, quiet vibe that was exactly what we needed to unwind. We spent hours in the common areas, which are perfectly designed for hanging out, and the game selection kept our group entertained late into the evening. The food was honestly incredible—every meal felt like a treat—and waking up to those mountain views never got old. What really made the experience, though, was the staff; they were so welcoming and genuine that it felt more like staying with friends than at a hotel. It is the perfect balance of a peaceful retreat and a fun space to make memories with a group. I can't wait to head back!
Staying at little bir was the best decision we made! The owners were really helpful and accommodating! The staff here was so friendly specially Hari bhaiya who arranged all our transportation, activities including paragliding. We stayed in the dorm which was comfortable and clean. We had the best interactions and made great friends and connection.
