Sankalp is one of the kindest owner I’ve ever met. I came to Indian Culture after a terrible experience in another hostel and he took care of me in the best way possible. The rooms are super clean and spacious, every bed has his own curtains and a private locker. The food in the cafe is amazing and the athmosphere is quiet and cozy. Amazing people are staying there and I created unforgettable memories. If I’ll ever come back in Rishikesh I’ll come back to Indian Culture for sure. Thank you from the deepest of my heart❤️

I had a wonderful stay at this property. Very well maintained , the staff and people are very friendly perfect space for solo female traveler. If you’re looking for a peaceful place closer to the attractions just go for it. If you’re looking for a party hostel or place for large groups would not recommend as this place has that calm and quiet atmosphere.

Traveling alone and visiting India for the first time, Rishikesh was a complete mystery — I didn’t know what to expect. From the very first moment, I felt comfortable, safe, and warmly welcomed in a clean and empathetic environment. I stayed both in the “mini loft” room (which I lovingly called my little studio) and in a shared dorm — both experiences were excellent. In the dorm, I was initially worried about the shared bathroom, but it was brand new and cleaned several times a day. Perfect! Whenever I had questions or needed advice about places to visit, Ilo, Sankalpa, and the whole staff were incredibly kind and helpful — a truly wonderful team. The setting is another highlight: a real “jungle island” in Tapovan, surrounded by beautiful, well-kept plants and trees. Every corner feels carefully designed — the “fishbowl” area for reading and relaxing is just lovely. The small restaurant inside the hostel is also a gem: delicious breakfasts, lunches, and fresh juices. The pineapple and green apple juice is a must-try! I’m truly happy and grateful for this experience and for such a beautiful place to stay. Thank you, Indian Culture Hostel!

The beeeeest hostel in India and rishikesh! Lovely atmosphere, cozy rooms and very clean ! We had just moved from a different place because of cleanliness issues and I was so happy to have found Indian culture We stayed 2 weeks there and in this time we tried all the rooms haha :) All of them are great , but my favourite was the last room Location is super central too, yet away from noise and chaos because it is a bit far from the road The staff is super helpful and sweet, food is delicious and portions are big! The two dogs are super cute as well and very cuddly I wish all hostels in India were this good Thanks guys ❤️
