I had a wonderful stay at Hoztel Jollygrant Doon! From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcomed. The staff are exceptionally polite and respectful, always going out of their way to ensure a comfortable experience. The food was a highlight—exactly what I was looking for, including plenty of great chai. I also loved the visit to the coffee shop and mango orchard, which added a special touch to the trip. Not forgetting the peaceful atmosphere with a scenery of peacocks and other birds roaming around. I’ll definitely be back next time!
Best place to stay near Jolly Grant Airport. Most peaceful and beautiful place surrounded by greeneries and wild jungles. Best food available as well. I had pasta, dalia and lunch taste likes home food. Best experience after traveling 10 days. My last day at this place erased all my frustation of Rishikesh traffic and crowd.
I stayed for one night only, after a really exhausting trip, just arriving in India for the first time.. and i found the oasis i was looking for. Familiar environment, i felt very safe and supported, Mukesh & Arsh are incredibly welcoming and friendly, i never felt the need to lock my room door. I stayed in a single room because i really needed some peace and rest, and the room had a private toilet, AC, everything you need. I felt like a king. The facilities are nice, cozy, clean and there are many security cameras in the premises. Arsh is a very dedicated host, always ready to help and reply to your requests and doubts, and Mukesh is making sure everyone is eating good. I had a poha, a popular an quick dish, it was delicious. after i felt so good i had a 3 hour nap, like a baby. For dinner, he prepared a Thali, a complete meal with roti, dal, flat breads, pickles… balanced, diverse, delicious.. the whole shabang! He even brought it to my room door.. lovely 😊 Safe to say the prices are extremely reasonable, considering all the care and attention. Very close to the airport, and still surrounded by jungle, my night was a lullaby of sounds from the himalayan wilderness. Definitely coming back soon, धन्यवाद मेरे दोस्तों
I chose Hoztel Jollygrant Doon for the convenience of catching a flight, but what surprised me was that arriving here from Rishikesh felt like stepping into a truly peaceful and unpolluted sanctuary. Walking around Jollygrant village in the early morning and evening made me feel how warm and lovely the people are. The fresh air, the fragrance of the fields, and even the sound of peacocks calling through the window created a beautiful and serene atmosphere. The hostel manager and the two friendly staff members offered me the greatest help. I can truly say that I spent some of my most unforgettable moments here. Highly recommended!
It is a good place to stay when you are traveling by flight, as it is less than 2 km from the airport. Everything else is good. However, the food is not that great. Even though the menu shows many items, they said that for dinner they could prepare only a thali. The food was okay but too costly. The thali cost ₹250 and included only one potato sabji, four rotis, dal, and rice. If you ask for extra sabji or dal, they charge extra. For food, it is better to go near the airport, where there is a place that serves a variety of tasty, good-quality food at budget-friendly prices.
