Our travelers have stories to tell and memories to share. From unforgettable stays to warm hospitality, hear how we've made their journeys specials.

I recently stayed at Happinest Hostel in Bandra, Mumbai, and it was a fantastic experience overall. The location is one of the best features – it's just 600-700 meters from Bandra Railway Station, making it super convenient for commuting, exploring the trendy Bandra area, or catching trains to other parts of the city. The rooms are comfortable, with excellent room service keeping everything tidy. The washrooms and toilets are well-maintained and clean, which is a big plus for a hostel stay. What I loved most is the self-catering kitchen setup: you can easily prepare quick breakfasts or light meals like toast, omelettes, or simple dishes. There's a fridge for storing your food, and all the necessary dishes and utensils are provided for cooking and eating – it really feels like a home away from home. Other amenities are thoughtful too: a washing machine is available (though chargeable), a dedicated smoking area where you can relax and chill with friends, and a common TV area with free access to Netflix, YouTube, and more for unwinding. Towels and locks are available for rent if needed. The owner is friendly and approachable, and they even offer monthly stays with direct negotiation for better rates – perfect for longer-term visitors. There are some reasonable rules in place, like no cooking or noise in the kitchen area after 11 AM (to avoid disturbing others sleeping nearby), no smoking area access after 1 AM, restrictions on the TV area late at night (around 2:30-4 AM), and no gathering at the entrance gate after 1 AM. These rules are genuinely fair and help maintain a peaceful environment for everyone – no complaints there! Overall, This Hostel offers great value with its prime location, practical facilities, and considerate management. It's ideal for solo travelers, backpackers, or anyone looking for a comfortable, no-fuss stay in Mumbai. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would definitely return! Special thanks to Mr. Barun.(Receptionist/Caretaker also)

I stayed at this hostel for four days in April. It’s an acceptable place for short stays, but I wouldn’t recommend it for medium or long-term stays. The room was quite small, the walls are made of plaster, and noise travels easily. The door was also very noisy when opening and closing, which was a bit annoying. I had an issue with the laundry service: I started using the washing machine and was later told the cost was 300 rupees, even though a sign there said 200. They also told me the service was handled by staff, but in practice, the clothes were left unattended for quite a while, and I ended up having to take care of hanging and collecting them myself. On the positive side, the accommodation has air conditioning, which is a plus. However, the person in charge, Suraj, sleeps in the common area and does not speak English, which can be a significant drawback in an international city like Mumbai. Overall, it’s a functional place for a short stay, but there are several aspects that could be improved.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Happinest. The location is superb if you are looking for a vibrant place:) 8 bedroom was super chill although sometimes too chilly (AC/Fan controlled by roommates - my opinion). Water pressure and warm water was superb compared to other Hostel in India. Only downside a lot of the people who stay in the hostel are here for work meaning somtimes calls get answered in the dorm early in the morning..

Incredible place, cozy, warm, and very clean. Clean beds, rooms with ac, and washrooms. The service is also very good, theres people to help you with whatever you need. The staff was very very helpful, and you’ll find incredible people here. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, 5 stars.

Had an amazing stay and would definitely come back again. The best part of any journey is the people you meet, and Prem and Riya truly made this experience unforgettable. They made my stay 10x better. Thanks, guys! ❤️
