The hostel has a really unique and familiar atmosphere. That staff make you feel very comfortable and welcome. There are some activities that you can book, breakfast and chai sometime. It is cleaned very well every day and even in summer times the rooms are nice and cool. I felt very safe as a female traveler also in a mixed dorm and going out alone in that area. The only down side is the smelling of fish due to a fish market close by. For me that was very manageable though. Highly recommend this hostel.
stayed at Hammock Hostels during our Mumbai trip and absolutely loved the experience! The entire place had such a calm and homely atmosphere. The staff deserves special appreciation, especially Arjun, who was incredibly sweet, helpful, and friendly with every single guest. He really knows how to make people feel comfortable and welcomed 🌸 For a hostel located in a premium area like Bandra/Khar, the pricing and facilities were surprisingly good. Everything a traveller would need was available, from comfortable dorms to relaxing common spaces. We especially loved the small library area and the open space near the kitchen where guests could sit, chat, and unwind. Even the mixed dorm experience turned out to be completely comfortable because all the inmates were respectful, cooperative, and pleasant to be around. The whole vibe of the hostel felt safe, peaceful, and positive. This place truly felt less like a hostel and more like a home away from home. We had such a lovely stay and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Mumbai ✨
I stayed at Hammock for a couple of days at the end of February in the female dorm, and I had a really great experience. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, always ready to assist with anything. The bathrooms were very clean, which is something I really appreciate. The hostel offers plenty of amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen, and the overall design is bright, modern, and stylish. The location is excellent — right in the heart of Bandra, with everything nearby. The vibe is young, social, and friendly, with lots of international travelers, which makes it easy to meet new people

The staff is बेहद helpful and always ready to guide you with local tips, which made exploring Mumbai so much easier. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained—exactly what you need after a long day out in the city. Location is another big plus—everything from cafes to nightlife and transport is easily accessible. One of the best place i have stayed. Considering Mumbai as a fast moving city and equally chaotic, this place was the abode which made my stay beautiful. I was here for work in Mumbai and thanks to Arjun who made my stay worth it and fun. The breakfast setup at the terrace is great, cleanliness standards are way higher than any other hostels in india I've stayed at.
