Amazing stay in Jaipur! The hostel is in a great location right in a busy area, so everything is close and easy to get to. The staff went above and beyond to help me — they arranged my elephant ride and made getting to my next destination in Agra completely stress-free by setting up my train ticket. Super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. I felt really taken care of especially with my phone charger. I would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!
I recently stayed at Hammock Hostel in Jaipur and honestly, it was a really great experience overall.
The location is a big plus. It is quite close to popular spots like Nahargarh Fort and Hawa Mahal, so getting around and exploring the city was very convenient. You can cover a lot without spending too much time commuting, which makes a big difference when you are on a short trip.
The vibe of the hostel is one of its strongest points. It feels lively, friendly, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The evening rooftop programs are especially fun and entertaining. The top floor events really create a sense of community where you can meet fellow travelers, chat, laugh, and just enjoy the atmosphere together. The rooftop itself is beautiful, and you can even see Nahargarh Fort from there along with lovely city views, which makes the nights feel even more special.
One thing I really appreciated was the convenience of renting a scooty directly from the hostel. I rented one for 500 rupees per day, which I found very reasonable. The best part was that I got it right at the hostel, so I did not have to go anywhere else to arrange it. It made exploring Jaipur much easier and more flexible.
The free breakfast was also good and simple, but satisfying. They offer bread, jam, butter, hot milk, boiled eggs, banana, and cornflakes, which is enough to start your day comfortably before heading out to explore.
There are just a couple of small things that could make the stay even better. It would be really helpful to have a bedside or reading light at every bed in the dorm rooms. Sometimes you do not want to switch on the main lights and disturb others, so a small personal light would be a great addition.
Another thing is the rooftop timing. After 12 AM, you are not allowed to sit or hang out there. Personally, I feel the rooftop vibe at night is one of the best parts of the hostel. It would be amazing if travelers were allowed to sit quietly, play games, or just talk with friends and fellow hostellers after midnight, as long as they maintain discipline and do not disturb others.
Overall, my stay at Hammock Hostel was perfect and memorable. The location, the vibe, the rooftop view, the community feeling, and the convenience of renting a scooty made it a fantastic experience. With a few small improvements, it could easily become one of the best hostel experiences in Jaipur. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Laundry clothes were handed over in morning with a promise of next morning 8:30 AM collection, received them at 10:00 AM instead.
Water pressure is quite low, which can cause minor difficulty with bath and flush.
Flush and bathroom water flow could be improved for better comfort.

This is the best hostel i have come across in the jaipur city. The property is new nice and clean. Property manager Toushif, front desk Govind & Abhishek and the cleaning staff all are very help full. They provide complemtary breakfast to all guest. The rooftop is the best one it has nice view to Nahargarh fort also they have night events on the rooftop where you can have good time.
