A Perfect Find for Solo Travellers in Goa My stay at Half Orange Hostel was completely unplanned, but it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my Goa trip. I had originally booked a different hostel, but when I reached early in the morning, they refused to entertain me. Left stranded, I called the contact number of Half Orange, and Vikrant sir immediately told me to come over, check the hostel, and even allowed me to check in right away. That itself felt like a huge relief. When I arrived, Ravi, the manager, was there and calmly took care of everything. As a solo traveller, safety is always a concern, and Ravi made sure I felt comfortable and secure. He also suggested places to explore in Goa, helped me arrange a scooty, and was always polite, friendly, and supportive. The entire staff was equally kind and welcoming. I also got a chance to meet Rony sir, the co-owner of the hostel—super funny, warm, and someone who instantly lightens the atmosphere. The vibe of the hostel truly reflects the people running it. About the property: The hostel is very clean, lively yet peaceful, and beautifully surrounded by greenery. It’s the kind of place where you can socialize if you want, or just relax and enjoy your own space. A must-visit place in Goa, especially for solo travellers. Whenever I visit Goa again, Half Orange Hostel will definitely be my stay choice. Highly recommended! 💛🍊
The stay was decent nothing fancy. Rooms were clean enough and the staff was okay. We had booked a deluxe room and the price was good considering it was November, only USP of the place. The staff can be a little more accommodating and clean the rooms a bit more. There were random clothes in our bathroom when we checked in. No room service was a pain and there's no phone inside the room. Beds and linen weren't changed even though we were there for 4 days Parking is decent for 2 wheelers but cars would struggle. The location is good and close to alot of eateries. Would I book this place again? No
The stay was really nice and comfortable. The room and bed were very cozy, which made the stay relaxing. I also enjoyed meeting new people during my time there — it added a great vibe to the experience. The atmosphere was friendly, pleasant, and welcoming. Overall, it was a lovely stay and I would definitely recommend it.
Great place. Peaceful ambience. AC rooms lived in 4 sharing. Good for people who want a calm chill out place with some music, games and pool. Very near to ozran beach, vagator and anjuna, hill top. Nearby general stores for supply. Only one point is the food could be better rest everything is a breeze. Well you can always eat outside like Mango tree is nearby. The host is very friendly.
Great hostel with a really friendly vibe. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is super helpful and social, and the location in Vagator is perfect close to the beach but still quiet. Met amazing people here. Highly recommended!
