I stayed at Forrest Hostels for 5 nights and here is my honest review. Let's start with the things I did not like: 1 - In the 5 days I was there, they only made my bed once, even after I placed the card that reads "Please make my bed". 2 - They did not provide a towel change, and I had to use my personal towel instead. 3 - I felt like the number of washroom cubicles was not enough, as many times I had to wait to use the facilities. 4 - Like most hostels, Forrest Hostels suffers from cleanliness. Don't get me wrong, for the most part they try to keep it clean. But I had some issues. For starters, there was a long strand of hair on my bed when I checked in (not mine, I am a guy with short hair), a classic example of dirty sheets. And there were dust deposits on many places near the bed, a nightmare for people with dust allergies. Now the good aspects: 1 - It's a comfy place to stay. The beds are good, the AC is good, and there's a fan attached to every bed that is super efficient at cooling you down. 2 - The washrooms are well maintained and most of the time they are dry. 3 - The common areas are fun, full of activities you can do with others. 4 - The staff is super nice and helpful. 5 - Overall it is a great place to stay.
Hatsoff to the artists for the concept behind this hostel ambience. It's a small and beautiful space in Bandra region. A forest theme blended with reused vehicle parts! Hostel is bit inside a small and crowded street. Entry secured with pin. As i am very fond of tiny spaces, I felt very comfy there. There is a cafe also with affordable price and good food, yet takes time to serve though. Good service and strict rules.. 😃
Stayed at Forrest Hostels for a day and honestly, it exceeded expectations. The place is super well, designed, clean, hygienic bathrooms, spacious beds, and everything feels thoughtfully structured. That little fan above the bed? Cold enough to deserve honorary AC status🤌🏻—perfectly comforting. The vibe is calm, tidy, and effortless. What really stood out was the staff: humble, warm, and quietly attentive—they handled things before I even had to ask. You can tell they genuinely care about the guest experience. If you’re looking for a place that’s comfortable, well-maintained, and run by good people, this is it. Highly recommended🙌🏻
Stayed there for a couple of days to catch Lollapalooza 2026. Very nice experience, all staff were super polite and professional. Washrooms were very clean, dorms are quite spacious, include charging points and individual lights for every bed, and the crowd is also very chill. Loved the stay, and the pricing is also very reasonable.
The stay was really excellent from the very beginning. The warm welcome and thoughtful hospitality made the experience truly enjoyable. I really loved the comfort and atmosphere throughout my visit. It’s definitely one of the best places for solo travellers, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant, relaxing and socially interactive stay with very less budget.
