Footprint by the Lake, Udaipur

I had booked through an app after talking to the contact number given in Google. I was provided with the exact room with great view of one side of Lake pichola. The room was neat and clean. The building seems new. The location is perfect with majority of tourist spots at walking distance. As it's a hostel (with few private rooms also), it would be definitely great for bachelors and young couples. I have given service rating as 4 coz they have skeletal stuff, who ofcourse can't work round the clock. But as long as they are available, they will make the stay pleasing.

It’s nothing but a scam. Its shady at best. Private rooms are located in a dingy ‘B’ wong which was not informed propr. The staircase is narrow with no lake view….opens to another property. The rooms are very tiny with zero to none amenities in the room. And the most suspicious thing about the rooms are a clear glass panel abovr the door in every room. Anyone can peep inside! Crazy!

The double deluxe room is very nice, clean and bathroom attached also. The problem comes from the staff and their friends smoking, partying, laughing, blasting loud videos on speakers just in front of the room until 2 am every night. Just outside the room is the hostel sofas and resting shared area and people are making noise there until late night so if you like quiet place to sleep forget it and go somewhere else. The restaurant manager was awesome and very kind though, you can eat there but don't stay if you are not ready for party hostel night.

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days in a 6-bed dormitory and had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent, situated close to the lake, making it very convenient and scenic. The rooms were clean, well maintained and comfortable throughout our stay. One of the best highlights was the rooftop, which offered an amazing view and was a perfect place to relax. Overall, it’s a great place to stay, especially for its cleanliness, prime location and beautiful views.

Stayed here for 2 nights in a private room! Loved the room decor and the beautiful view of Pichola Lake from our window. The overall vibe of the hostel is warm and fun, felt more like staying with friends than at a hostel! The room was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The common areas are super cute and perfect to just chill after exploring the city. Most tourist spots are within a 3-4 km range some you can even walk to! The owners were exceptionally helpful, they arranged a scooty for us, suggested great food spots, and even played UNO with us. Totally worth the price for the location and the experience. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Udaipur! Special shoutout to Yashika for her cheerful and adorable energy. ✨️

I had an amazing stay at this hostel! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly, always ready to help with local tips, directions, and even small things that made the stay more comfortable. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained.The common areas were vibrant and perfect for meeting fellow travelers – I ended up making some great friends during my stay. which made exploring the city even better. The location was ideal, with easy access to public transport, good food spots nearby, and major attractions just a short walk away. On top of that, the vibe of the place really felt like a home away from home – relaxed, social, and safe.
