Very cozy and homely stay! Room is quite spacious with a stunning view of snow covered peaks. They have a great community here, very friendly for solo travellers. The cafe serves fresh delicious food along with a breathtaking view and open space sitting.
I recently stayed at Firefly Hostel in Manali, and honestly, it was one of the best hostel experiences I’ve ever had—easily a 10/10. From the moment I arrived, the vibe was just perfect—laid-back, friendly, and full of positive energy. The hostel is beautifully designed with cozy dorms, clean bathrooms, and a common area that feels like home. The views from the terrace are absolutely breathtaking—you can see the mountains and greenery all around while sipping your morning coffee or just relaxing in the evening. The staff is super helpful, warm, and always ready to chat or guide you around Manali. What really sets Firefly apart is the community atmosphere—you meet travelers from all over the world, share stories around the bonfire, and even jam together if someone pulls out a guitar. The location is also amazing—close enough to the main town for convenience, but tucked away just enough to enjoy peace and nature. Whether you're a solo traveler, a digital nomad, or just on a break with friends, this place is a total gem. Can’t wait to go back!
One of the best backpacker hostels in Old Manali! The location is perfect, with stunning mountain views and the sound of the Beas River nearby. The vibe is super chill and friendly, making it easy to meet fellow travelers. The common areas are cozy, and evenings often turn into jam sessions and fun conversations. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the staff is extremely helpful with local tips for cafes, treks, and hidden gems. If you’re looking for more than just a stay — a real experience — this is the place. Highly recommend for solo travelers and backpackers!
Dorms were super comfortable and well-maintained, with a fantastic view that made every morning special. The overall vibe of the hostel was amazing, and the staff was absolutely wonderful—always friendly, helpful, and full of good energy. I met some really great people here, and a huge thanks to Shubham for helping us plan things and even taking us on local treks—it made the whole experience unforgettable. Already looking forward to coming back!
I have spent 3 months doing just nothing and still felt like 3 days. Feels like home, just wake-up, eat, play ludo, talk to mountains and sleep and repeat. The view is wider and louder. I spot Milky Way some days and moonrises on the other. Food is amazing, some fancy recipes to simple meals tastes home cooked. One place and you can have entire view just by sitting at one place. My October never felt this better.
