Devi Music Ashram & Hostel

So happy to have found this place in Rishikesh! The vibe was great, I especially enjoyed the concerts by the very talented musicians who own the place. The music room for these concerts is amazing, with a great sound system which adds to the moving experience. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Communal area is very fun with lots of interesting books also.

For the two months I was in Rishikesh i was attending Kirtan every single Thursday, and i wish to deeply thank Neeti Ji, Raj Ji and Devi Ji for those enchanting evenings where I felt transported to another dimension through their music and voices. Not to forget the peaceful and cozy energy at the concert hall. Thank you for making my time in Rishikesh memorable, and Thursdays now are surely not the same since I've left!

I stayed at Devi Music Ashram for two weeks and absolutely loved my time there. It felt so homey from the moment I arrived. The space is run by women, and there’s a soft, comforting, nurturing energy throughout the entire ashram. I felt safe, peaceful, and truly held the whole time. My room was on the top floor with a lovely view, and the location is perfect: quiet and serene, yet still close to everything in town and only a short walk to the Ganga. It really offers the best of both worlds. The staff were incredibly sweet and helpful. One of the men even carried my luggage down the road to my taxi when I checked out, which meant so much after a long trip. Every interaction was kind, supportive, and genuine. I had an amazing experience here and would highly recommend Devi Music Ashram to anyone looking for a peaceful, heart-centered place to stay in Tapovan.

The room’s are spacious and the whole ashram is kept clean. Beautiful music most evenings. Pramod, Neeti, Devi, and Raj are welcoming to the ashram. It felt like home. A tranquil space in a town that’s growing busier by the day!
