Your room is going to be simple, minimal yet enough, filled with lots of positive energies and lively and creative vibes. It also hosts many musical events and philosophical talks. I enjoyed my short stay at the place. 🤩
I only came for the singing classes and private harmonium classes. Neeti has an abundance of knowledge regarding classical Indian music and her classes were a joy to take! Her voice is rich and angelic... An inspirational teacher!
Wonderful place specially if you want to learn classic indian song and music - some times a bit noise with children screaming & running around .. the location. Is very central the rooms are clean , large, bed ok ( this is an ashram folks not a hotel ) , donation base programs daily
Devi Ashram feels like home — super peaceful with the nicest people around. The night concerts are magical and so calming. Loved the music classes, both vocal and instrumental. The food is homely and the whole vibe is just warm and welcoming. Definitely a place to unwind and concert.
Really enjoyed my stay here and sad to leave. I stayed in a private double room and it’s so spacious and bright. I could’ve spent all day there, reading and practicing yoga. The library is full of brilliant books, there’s access to a fridge and downstairs kitchen. This is a beautiful family-run place with small classical Indian music concerts happening most evenings. And since it’s off the main street, it’s relatively peaceful! As a single female solo traveller I felt very safe here :)
