We recently stayed at Course Of Life Alleppey and it was easily one of the best parts of our Kerala trip. The property is spotless, peaceful, and has such a warm homely vibe. Our room was clean, comfortable, and we loved the view — waking up to greenery and the calm surroundings made the mornings so relaxing. The food was amazing too. Everything was fresh, tasty, and felt like home-cooked meals. They were happy to accommodate what we wanted and the service was quick. But the highlight of Alleppey is the backwaters, and the helpful staff made it so easy for us. They arranged our houseboat/boat ride, gave us tips on the best time to go, and made sure everything was smooth. We also got great recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit. What stood out the most though was the kind staff. From check-in to check-out they treated us like family. Nothing was too much trouble and they made sure we had everything we needed. If you want a clean stay, good food, and genuine hospitality in Alleppey, I 100% recommend Course Of Life. We’ll definitely be back!
If you are looking for homely vibes. I will highly recommend this place. Recently I visited this stay during onam, literally the owner and their staffs were too polite and cating. They served us their homely prepared meal. They treated us like one of their family members. It was a pleasant experience and yeah the backwater just behind this site was eye- catching 🤗
I had a wonderful stay at Course of Life Hostel near Punnamada Lake in Alappuzha. The atmosphere was peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for enjoying the beauty of the lakeside. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and had a very friendly vibe. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. One of the best parts was the location — close to the lake with beautiful surroundings and a calm environment. I met great people and truly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended for travelers looking for a cozy and memorable stay in Alleppey!
We had such a nice stay too, from the start Rahul is very chill and welcoming. The hostel is really comfy with loads of common areas. It’s in a quiet area right next to the river. Very easy to order food or a 100/150r and only 10 mins drive in tuk tuk to town. The tours were great, especially the canoe tour around the canals. We caught the local ferry, ate at a homestay and had a comfy ride in a rowing boat with sofas. Stopping for pictures and toddy coconut beer. And kayaked at sunrise. The guides were so fun and friendly. Big, spacious rooms, a bit old but fair for the price . He is refurbing soon. Filtered water and fridges. Rahul got us cutlery etc to eat. Anything we needed with a smile. He helped us settle in to a new country and talked us through all our questions planning the rest of our trip. He continues to help us even now over WhatsApp.
This property is beautiful, with a balcony facing the backwaters, and very nice rooms for an excellent price. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful with any questions we had. They arranged our activities on the backwaters very efficiently. Thank you for everything!
