Byoc Hostels

Beautiful location and the hostel feels like home. The wall paintings are super beautiful ❤️ However, the only one thing that bothered me the most was that sleeping on the bed gave me very bad itches and the height of the upper bunker bed was super close to the fan. But apart from that the hostel has amazing ambiance 🙂

The room in the top floor of the place is infested with bed bugs that you can't even sleep for one hour. I am also dissatisfied by the response from the staff when I complained as it seemed insensitive. If you're someone like me who is sensitive to bedbugs, and needs to spend time checking your bags and dunking them in hot water to get rid of bedbugs, this place is not recommended. Apart from that it's a good place because of the the games and ambience.

I honestly don’t understand how this place has a 4.8 rating. The six-bed room had only one fan, making the upper bunk beds extremely hot and uncomfortable. There were also a lot of mosquitoes, and no engagement activities were organised for the guests. Overall, the experience was quite poor and did not meet expectations.

I had a good stay at BYOC Hostel. The volunteers are very friendly and helpful. The location is very nice and close to Indiranagar, which makes travel easy. The hostel has quite good facilities. There are many fun activities like PlayStation, table tennis, foosball, and more. The washrooms were clean and well maintained. I also had a good roommate. The hostel provides a nice workspace and a terrace, which is great for relaxing and working. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The ambience is very good, with a pleasant atmosphere. The living and working areas are nice, and there are a few indoor games available. The kitchen is good, and there are also two cute cats, which was a nice touch. However, I was very disappointed because I found bed bugs on my bed, and I even got some kind of infection. I don’t understand why there was a lack of cleanliness in the bed, as the sleeping area is the most important part. The room itself looked clean, and the blankets were good, but the presence of bed bugs completely ruined the experience.
