The ambience is very good, with a pleasant atmosphere. The living and working areas are nice, and there are a few indoor games available. The kitchen is good, and there are also two cute cats, which was a nice touch. However, I was very disappointed because I found bed bugs on my bed, and I even got some kind of infection. I don’t understand why there was a lack of cleanliness in the bed, as the sleeping area is the most important part. The room itself looked clean, and the blankets were good, but the presence of bed bugs completely ruined the experience.
One word that you will hear often from the folks who stay at BYOC (especially ones that stay long) is that it is like 'home' There is a reason for that, and I have seen it myself having stayed at BYOC now twice (a month each time) This is really an exceptionally well designed space, and you can see the amount of thought that has been put into it. The multiple common areas (where you will inevitably meet new guests, and start conversations), the game room, the co-working space, the art (and philosophy) that surrounds you, the brilliant book collection, the community kitchen - this really is one of the those places that covers all bases, and makes people call it 'home' and keep returning to it I have created some beautiful memories, and met some beautiful people, and I am sure I will keep returning! Kudos to Pankaj, and Keshav ji for running such an amazing ship, and creating an amazing environment for travellers from all over the world!
I had a good stay at BYOC Hostel. The volunteers are very friendly and helpful. The location is very nice and close to Indiranagar, which makes travel easy. The hostel has quite good facilities. There are many fun activities like PlayStation, table tennis, foosball, and more. The washrooms were clean and well maintained. I also had a good roommate. The hostel provides a nice workspace and a terrace, which is great for relaxing and working. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
I stayed at this artistic and vibrant hostel in Bangalore for 4 days, and it was an absolute delight! As an introvert, I appreciated having the option to enjoy my space and relax in peace. The hostel has a unique charm with its creative decor and welcoming vibe. While it's perfect for extroverts who thrive on socializing, it also caters well to those like me who prefer quiet moments. The atmosphere was warm, and the overall experience was pleasant. This place has easily earned a spot as my go-to stay in Bangalore. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a blend of art, comfort, and community!
I stayed there for a day, visited Bangalore back for Team Lunch, this is a decent place to stay, quite and serene atmosphere. You get wifi, kitchen access, etc here.
