I stayed in this place for 6 nights in total and kept extending my stay. The Manager Vides really looks after you to make sure you have a good time. I came back during Holi and it was a brilliant experience! The view from the rooftop is probably the best in Udaipur! Good is very good however it is a little on the expensive side and unfortunately so is the beer, this lets it down slightly as a beer is only 100 rupees less than 1 nights stay. The service staff in the cafe don’t speak good English and this did make it difficult at times as an international traveller. The bedrooms are excellent, bunks are very solid with a good privacy curtain that fully covers the bed and a fan is included. The bathrooms are nice.
Stayed at Bunkyard in Udaipur and had a great experience. The hostel has a beautiful rooftop with amazing views of Lake Pichola and the city. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, close to major attractions in the old city. The social atmosphere is great for solo travelers and groups. Highly recommended for a budget-friendly and memorable stay in Udaipur.
I am only sharing the review because what you book on Goibibo price, the manager doesn't agree on it rather say that we won't give on such price so it is just an attractive price on Goibibo to attract travellers. I didn't like that to get humiliated so giving feedback. Also, the food price is really expensive like you are eating in 5 star hotel, you will be surprised to see menu. I would suggest to hotel management, this is a hostel not a 5 star hotel. Ac timings is fixed, I must say in Udaipur, maximum hostels give you 24 hours AC except this one.

Bunkyard Hostel Udaipur is an amazing place to stay, especially for solo travellers! 🔥 The vibe here is super friendly and chill. I met many nice solo travellers and foreigners as well, and it was really easy to make new friends. The best part of this hostel is definitely the rooftop 😍✨ What a beautiful view! The rooftop atmosphere in the evening is just next level. Sitting there and enjoying the city view is something I honestly can’t forget. Rooms were clean, staff was helpful and overall experience was totally worth it. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Udaipur!
