My stay at Bunk Hostel Rishikesh was absolutely wonderful. I felt so comfortable here that it truly felt like a home away from home. Honestly, I didn’t even feel like leaving because the experience was so lovely. The rooms were clean and cozy, the location is beautiful, and everything is very well maintained. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their service is excellent. The café is also amazing, the food and the vibe are great. During my entire stay, I didn’t face even the smallest inconvenience. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone visiting Rishikesh. If you are planning a trip here, this place is a must stay. I would love to come back again. ❤️
I booked this hostel because it was relatively cheap for 13 nights and the location was in a nice area. I stayed in the girls dorm with 5 other girls. They were really nice but most of them were only there for a few nights so lots would come in and out. Sometimes they would arrive late during the night, so that was a bit inconvenient cause I’m a light sleeper but mostly it was okay. The hostel doesn’t have any extra benefits though. I wasn’t able to use their kettle for hot water because they also run a cafe so they said I would have to wait and buy their tea. But I just wanted hot water. There was also one night when 2 of the male workers came in and turned all the lights on and were very loud with each other as they had to make a bed for a new arrival. Super unprofessional and could have been done at a better hour instead of frightening me in the middle of the night. It’s a girls only dorm for a reason … Another thing that isn’t mentioned is that the gym isn’t free, which was the main reason I booked this hostel instead of another. It’s actually 250 rupees per day (a 50 rupee discount for staying in the hostel). A bit misleading. Also the water filter wasn’t working when I arrived which was also disappointing lol. Oh and it’s mostly only Indian bodied people who stay in the hostel so the photo of it looking like a “community of westerners” on hostelworld isn’t really accurate either. But overall, it was mostly fine. I know this is a negative-ish review but … it’s true.
I’d like to share a genuine review of my experience. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, mainly because of Shalinee and the owner. They both were incredibly cooperative and made everything smooth and enjoyable. Thank you for such a great experience 😊 I would, however, like to mention that my interaction at the reception could have been better. It felt a bit less welcoming than expected, and I hope this can be improved to make the experience even better for future guests. But I truly enjoyed my time and would definitely love to visit again 😊
We had booked the private room “Chico,” and it turned out to be a great experience. The room itself has a really pleasant vibe, with well-maintained interiors and a comfortable, thoughtfully designed setup that makes it ideal for a relaxed and private gathering. What truly stood out, however, was the hospitality. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive throughout. A special mention to the owners and the managers, Mr. Rahul, Mr. Zubin, and Ms. Zheel, who ensured everything was handled smoothly. Mr. Rahul, in particular, deserves appreciation for his professionalism and warm approach. He was very accommodating, responsive to our requirements, and made sure we felt welcomed at every step. His attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile significantly enhanced our overall experience. Overall, a highly satisfying visit. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a good private space with excellent service.

Highlights: 🛏️ Super comfortable beds and plenty of privacy. 🚿 Clean bathrooms with great water pressure. 🚶♂️ Perfect location—close to all the best spots but still quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. 📶 Fast Wi-Fi for all your needs. I honestly didn’t want to leave! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area. Highly recommended! 🙌🎒✈️
