Had a really great time here. Stayed much longer that planned because it felt like a home. The property is only a few mins walk from the main lake area but nice and quiet at night. Lots of plants and greenery around the hostel and some cool artwork. The beds here are really good compared to most hostels. Very nice mattress and comfortable duvets. The cafe also has good healthy food. But by far the places biggest assets of this place are the hosts Aatish and Nikita. They made me feel like family as they are such genuine and kind people. They do such a great job of creating a comfortable vibe amongsts the guests. We watched many movies together and enjoyed cozy fires every night. There is also a dog called Love who lives up to his name. Thank you so much for having me! Will be back for sure.
The hostel is very beautiful and modern, with a lovely little garden in the inner courtyard. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. That said, the price of the private room is quite high, and given that, one issue was absolutely unacceptable: the ventilation from the dormitory bathroom vents directly into the private room’s bathroom (Please, next time get an architect 🫣). When turned on it was so noisy that it even made having a phone call difficult, let alone getting any sleep. For me, this was a complete dealbreaker. However, I really appreciated how understanding the staff were, and they kindly agreed to cancel my booking after the first night.
I had the most incredible stay at Banana Hostel in Pushkar! 🌴✨ From the moment I arrived, the vibe was warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. I originally booked for just 2 days but ended up staying for 4—because the atmosphere and vibes were simply amazing! The staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home—they’re genuinely kind, helpful, and always smiling. A special shoutout to the owner, Nikita, who is absolutely wonderful. She’s always up for a chat about anything and everything—conversations with her feel like they could go on forever and truly add to the whole experience. She’s incredibly hardworking and handles everything herself across all departments, never shying away from any task. You can always find her actively working, making sure every guest has a comfortable and memorable stay. What made my stay even more wonderful was her kindness and flexibility. Since I initially planned to stay for 10 days, she offered me a special discounted price. However, after 2 days I had to leave early due to an emergency—and she was kind enough to return the balance at the same agreed price, something that rarely happens anywhere else. That level of honesty and care truly stood out. The atmosphere is super chill and perfect for meeting amazing people from all over the world. Whether you’re relaxing in the common areas, enjoying the peaceful surroundings, or joining in on fun activities, there’s always something to love. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring Pushkar. Everything—including the common areas—is tastefully designed with a lot of thought behind it. The incense sticks used in the morning make the atmosphere feel absolutely heavenly. The only small thing I’d suggest is reviewing the pricing of the in-house café, which I found to be a bit on the expensive side. A few other guests I met during my stay also shared the same thought. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall amazing experience. If you’re looking for a place with great vibes, awesome people, and unforgettable memories, Banana Hostel is the place to be. Can’t wait to come back! 💛
The location was perfect — peaceful, scenic, and just a short distance from the famous Pushkar Lake and the sacred Brahma Temple. The rooms were clean, spacious. The staff was extremely polite, at reception welcoming. and always ready to help, which made the stay even more comfortable. The food was delicious.🍛 Highly recommended for anyone visiting Pushkar. Would definitely love to stay here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
To start with, this hostel was the best place I stayed at as a solo traveller. The female dorm had clean beds, a clean washroom, and felt incredibly safe. The garden area, full of greens, was so peaceful, and the common space quickly became my favourite spot—whether it was for practicing yoga or enjoying movie nights with fellow travellers. They also have fun games and a pool table to unwind. The hostel is close to the lake, which is a big plus. And the hosts Nikita & Aatish weren’t just owners—they were kind, welcoming, joyful people who made the stay truly memorable. I would go back in a heartbeat.
