Zomad Hostels

I had such a lovely stay at Zomad Hostels. The environment is great, it's a well built and well planned space with multiple zones to relax, inside and outside. The volunteers, owners and the other people at the hostel are so friendly and it was a very memorable stay! I'd definitely recommend this if you're solo, it's also a great option with a couple of friends - very budget friendly and fairly close to most places in Auroville.

Nice hostel, good ambience with the lights in the evening and the staff are nice and friendly. The location is within 2 minute walk from Auroville entrance and there’s many cafes around for breakfast. The hostel is new and still needs a bit of work, we had a problem in our room the toilet seat and the door of the room was broken, and wasn’t cleaned for over 2 days. I had to make a complaint in the end and it was handled eventually and I hope has in some way helped highlight some things that could be improved. Otherwise the beds are very comfy and the bedding is really nice and the rooms have AC and a fan so will be good for when it’s hot! FYI there’s no hot water.

Very friendly volunteers and my host Sai. Every guest who stayed added something different. I usually struggle to speak to new people but here everyone was approachable because that’s the vibe this place creates. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and the other guests also maintained them really well. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to come back when work allows. In the evenings we played games around a bonfire and it was really special for me.

I loved everything about zomad. The host, Sai, is extremely friendly, and i met some amazing people there. The beds are super comfortable, and the overall atmosphere war far beyond my expectations. I would definitely choose this hostel again for my next stay with out hesitation.

Had a wonderful stay at this hostel in Pondicherry. The place was clean, cozy, and had a very positive vibe. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is little far from Pondicherry but worth staying . Felt safe, comfortable, and truly relaxed—would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Pondicherry.
