Had a really good stay at Young Monk Cafe & Hotel, Jibhi. The services were good, rooms were clean and decent, and the views from the property were absolutely amazing. Special mention to the host Abhishek — super friendly, helpful, and genuinely fun to talk with, which made the whole experience even better. The cafe wasn’t operational during our stay, but overall the stay was comfortable and worth it for the peaceful vibe and beautiful location. Definitely recommended for anyone visiting Jibhi! 🏔️✨
The room had no table or chair or anything to keep the clothes or luggage - we didn't even have any surface to keep the lock and key. there was no water provided by the host. The door from inside had no handle to open the door - had to struggle with that as well. There was no water in the washroom when we woke up at 7 am in the morning, when we went to the main reception he said they will fill it up now the water supply started after 30 mins which made us late for my site seeing. Staff is very blunt and rude, not friendly at all. not worth the amount we paid as we got great stays for half the price we paid here.
I had to stay at this property for two nights because most accommodations in Jibhi were sold out, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. The room was clearly not cleaned before check-in. There were someone else’s undergarments and even a condom left in the room. When I raised this with the caretaker, he casually told me that his manager had used the bathroom earlier and had accidentally left those items behind. The beds were dirty, and there were ticks/insects present, making it extremely uncomfortable to sleep. Overall, the property appeared poorly maintained, unhygienic, and badly managed. I would strongly recommend avoiding this property and choosing another place if possible.
We waited almost 2 hours to get the food!!! And the crazy part is there were only two other customers that came after us and got their food first and all we ordered were omelettes with toast and rice! Very disappointing only go if you want to waste 2 hours waiting for your decent food.
I had a wonderful experience staying at Young Monk Hostel in Jibhi. The place has a peaceful vibe, clean rooms, and beautiful mountain views. The common areas are cozy and perfect for meeting new people or just relaxing with a cup of chai. A special mention to Shiva, one of the staff members — he was extremely polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything. His friendly behavior made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Jibhi. Great place, great people, and great hospitality! 🌿🏔️
