Whoopers Boutique Anjuna Goa

We had a wonderful time at Whoopers Boutique Hotel! After traveling around India for three weeks, this was the place where we finally felt like our vacation had truly started. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, and we even made new friends during our stay. The staff deserves a special mention — they are super friendly, helpful, and genuinely care about their guests. Everything from the rooms to the common areas was clean, comfortable, and full of good vibes. Thank you to everyone at Whoopers (especially Himadri) for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to come back! 💛

Stayed at Whoopers Boutique Hotel in Anjuna and honestly loved it! The property is very well maintained and the swimming pool is also kept clean!!!! The vibe is super chill, the staff are really sweet and helpful, and the rooms were neat and comfy. The location’s great too — close to the beach and cute cafes around. Had such a good time here, would totally come back again! 🌴💫

I stayed at Whoopers boutique hotel during my solo trip to Goa, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I made! As a solo traveler, I was looking for a place that felt safe, comfortable, and well-located — and this hotel exceeded all my expectations. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready with a smile and helpful tips on where to go and what to explore. They made me feel right at home, which meant a lot since I was traveling alone. The location of the hotel is ideal — close to the beach, yet peaceful enough to relax. One of the highlights was the in-house bar , which served fabulous drinks (cocktails). Highly recommended for anyone traveling solo to Goa. I’d definitely return!😍😍

There are many things to like about this hotel. One, The rooms are excellent, though somewhat dimly lit. Two. Wi-Fi is reliable, the bathrooms are clean, and hot water is readily available. Three. The cocktails at the in-house bar are genuinely good, and the staff are kind and pleasant throughout. Four, I also appreciated the digital experience—check-in and ordering via the mobile interface are both intuitive and well done. That said, I chose to leave after two nights despite having booked a four-night stay, for reasons that are probably specific to me. The hotel allows stray dogs to enter the premises and has “adopted” a couple of them. This appears to be fairly common in Goa and is not unique to this property. While the dogs I saw were docile and seemed well cared for, I am personally uncomfortable with unleashed animals moving around dining areas and sitting close by while I am eating. I use the term “adopted” in quotation marks because, in most dog-friendly places in India or abroad, pets are typically leashed and owners are clearly responsible for them. This simply wasn’t what I had in mind for my holiday. If you are comfortable with unleashed dogs sitting on the chair across you while you are eating, this may not bother you at all and the hotel could be a good choice. There were four other downsides worth mentioning, though none of these were the reason I checked out early. One, The overall operations felt informal rather than hotel-like. For example, even after requesting housekeeping, I sometimes returned to find it hadn’t been done. Similarly, my early departure did not prompt any questions or follow-up. The staff are warm and well-intentioned, but the operational style feels closer to that of a hostel (which they also run across the road) than a conventional hotel. Two, Some guests may also find the music that plays periodically—audible inside the rooms—distracting. Three, The location is fine during the day, but at night, stepping out for dinner involves walking through poorly lit patches, and Anjuna has a large number of stray dogs after dark. Lastly, smoking is allowed in the outdoor dining and drinking areas, which may be uncomfortable for guests used to stricter no-smoking norms, especially those coming from larger Indian cities or from abroad. The purpose of this review is not to bad mouth the hotel but help people choose.

Had an amazing stay at Whoopers Anjuna! The place has such an awesome vibe — super chill, clean, and perfect for meeting new people. Arjun and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly; they went out of their way to suggest some great local spots and hidden gems that made the trip even better. Highly recommend this place if you want the perfect mix of comfort, fun, and Goan energy! 🌴✨
