Spent 3 amazing days at The Whereabout Hostel and honestly, it was totally worth it. The whole place felt like home from the vibe to the people and the atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more special. We had late-night jamming sessions, explored the beautiful places around Udaipur, and made some really good memories there. Everything about the experience the people, the place, and the energy was just perfect. Definitely one of those stays you remember for a long time 🤍✨

Worst experience of my life. Please read before booking I honestly had the worst experience of my life at this property. Please do not waste your hard earned money here. It is a total nightmare. 1. Tiny Rooms: The room was extremely small. There is no space for even a chair or stool. Once you enter, there is only the bed. 2. Hygiene Issues: The place smells bad and feels unhygienic. 3. Rude Staff & Scams: The staff is very rude. First, they force you to cancel your online booking so they can keep the whole profit. If you ask for water or towels, you have to beg again and again. 4. Unbearable Noise: It is impossible to sleep here. The staff and their friends run up and down the stairs talking loudly. Even after asking them to be quiet, they don't care. 5. Jamming & Harassment: They have a terrible (besura) jamming session at night. They just want to sell drinks and will even knock on your door late at night to disturb you. They kept tapping on the roof loudly, and I didn't sleep the whole night. 6. Scooty Rental Scam: Do not take their scooty service! They charge very high rates. When we ran out of petrol, they refused to help unless we bought their tour package. In the end, they refused to return our security money by putting false allegations that we scratched the bike. This place is a mental torture. Please avoid it at all costs.

Had a wonderful experience at Whereabout Hostel! The vibe of the place is fantastic, and the people there are incredibly friendly and kind. The rooftop atmosphere is especially amazing—there are jamming sessions almost every day, which makes the experience even more memorable. I also joined their sunrise and sunset tours, and honestly, it was incredible. The guide and the cameraman were both amazing—very friendly and supportive, and they helped us explore the area in the best way possible. Truly loved the whole experience!

My stay at Whereabouts Hostel was excellent. The facilities are well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. The staff is friendly, helpful, and creates a welcoming vibe throughout the property. Special mention to the rooftop cafe —amazing ambience, great food, and perfect for chilling or meeting fellow travelers.

We booked hostel for the first time hoping it would be fun but it turned out completely opposite. We booked a room for 3000/ night it was nothing more than a 500₹ oyo room. Very disappointed with almost everything. The room had foul smell and damp walls. Room was so small that either there could be just people or bags at one time. It was so conjusted for 2 people and 2 bags. Dirty towels, bad smell, unhygienic environment and just one thin blanket made it all the worst experience for us. With these basic amenities, they were happy to charge 3X for drinks purchased from outside as cover charge. Only the staff was fun and cooperative and the sunrise tour was good which can be availed even if you are staying at some different place. Special mention to Abhishek bhaiya, Divyanshu Bhaiya & Suraj bhaiya for their sweet and welcoming nature. I would suggest not to pre book it and book only when you are satisfied after seeing the hostel.
