Unplanned Hostel Udaipur

The place has great potential, Their band is good and i think most of customer come here for the live music and vibe. And the music is great but the service is so bad, the sitting arrangement isn't properly done, you will have half the tables tillted towards you and uncomfortable to sit and eat. Then comes the ordering, they will give you a lonnng menu with probably more then 100 items, but they can't get a simple order of chilli garlic noodles with manchurian right. For my order, First they bring chilli garlic noodles cold , we ask the waiter about manchurian, he doesn't understand what do we want Then he asks someone else and they tell us we will get our food soon, again he brings the same cold noodles so we ask the manager and he says the same thing again. Our food came after 30 min and the portions of that combo was like it's for kids. And mocktails also aren't good You will get a better service at a stall , belive me. If you do come here listening to music then sit, enjoy music, order some coffee and forget about eating anything. The band consist of 2 guys and they are great.

Youth and a vibrant evening in the white city? It is THIS!!! I had smooth checkin in the hostel, got a 6 bedded dorm. Overall the room was quite clean and had attached bathrooms. But i had some complaints with the bathroom as it had a broken switchboard and hot water was not available. What really impressed me about this was the lively event hosted in the evening and the amazing crowd! Moreover, its lakeside location is quite the charm. You might find some difficulties in calling the uber/ola driver at your location and might have to walk a distance to the nearest bridge but at times of luck u may just find an auto by fare outside.

TL;DR: Bad service, food OK, music so so; prices high We were looking forward to an evening with life music while enjoying our dinner. We entered the bar and were promptly seated and our order was taken. So far so good. But then it took them 25mins to bring one of 3 drinks we ordered, which we did not understand, because the bar was not full. Another 5mins later the Pizza which my wife ordered arrived. Another 10mins later my curries arrived. Both dishes were good. My wife's Pizza, was good, but nothing comparable to Italian Pizza or anything you get in Europe. Meanwhile we had asked them multiple time when they will bring the two missing drink. They ensured us each time that they will bring it promptly. After 1h waiting, I almost finished my dish, my tea arrived. In between we cancelled the juice with another waiter and ordered something prepacked to drink. Once we are done with eating the juice arrived which was actually cancelled already. Prices are rather high, compared to other restaurants. Cocktails are rather expensive, yet delicious. Music was for our terms a bit too loud. The singer had too much sound effects over his voice and the mic created constant feedback loop with the speaker, but nothing unusual for an amateur concert. This bar has potential. If I was the owner I would reduce my offering drastically to a subset of the variety to cut serving times. The I would also invest in stervice staff training. Lastly, the toilet (singular) is very authentic for a rock bar and for sure authentic to Indian standards, but nothing links tourists would prefer.

This is a honest review!!!!! Please Don’t book this stay and don’t fall for the pictures they send you in person or are there in the various sites. I’ve travelled a lot and in remote area as well they also had better stays than this. Rooms have weird smell coming all the time. Cleanliness is zero all the bed sheets and curtains are used when we asked for fresh ones they told that we have these only. You can’t sleep because music is so loud nobody is concerned about the guests there. Service is third class. Please don’t book this stay at any cost you’ll surely regret. Also last but not the least the lake is very stinky and dirty.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The vibe of the place is relaxed and fun, with plenty of social spaces, including a beautiful party place and a rooftop with a stunning view of the city
