⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Wonderful Stay at Hotel Shiv Shakti I had an excellent experience at Hotel Shiv Shakti. The property is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but what truly made my stay special was the exceptional service from Rohit and Shubham. Rohit was incredibly attentive and always ready to assist with a smile. From check-in to helping with small requests, he made everything feel effortless and welcoming. Shubham also stood out with his professionalism and warm attitude. He was quick to help, very polite, and ensured every detail was taken care of. His dedication to good service really enhanced the overall experience. Thanks to both Rohit and Shubham, my stay felt smooth, comfortable, and genuinely pleasant. I highly recommend Hotel Shiv Shakti for anyone looking for great hospitality and excellent service.
Bad Experience for me as a solo traveller. This is my second time staying at Shiv Shakti Hostel, and I am quiet disappointed. The hostel does not have any cloth stand or even a thin rope to dry washed clothes, which is a basic facility in most hostels. I told the staff many times, but they did nothing. Last time also, I had to do a (jugaad) by myself to dry my clothes. When I asked for help, they only suggested giving clothes to their laundry, which is very expensive and not affordable for everyone especially for a solo budget traveller like me. Dorms were nice with a hot water facility as well. The water cooler was not working properly as it takes so long to fill a small bottle. I informed the staff many times, but no action was taken. A drunk guest from Delhi fought with me for a very minute thing. I have stayed in many hostels in Rishikesh, but I did not like this one at all. I will not recommend anyone to stay here.
I spent three days with my friend and I can’t recommend this place enough! i wanted to take a break from the dust and noise in Tapovan and it was the best decision after our retreat it is surrounded by beautiful nature and a nice river to go for a dip! The food was delicious and the meditation was also really nice :) The cottages are much nicer than the rooms but also a bit more pricey.
Had an amazing experience, mesmerizing view from the rooftop of hostel. made lots of new friends and had lots of fun in their coman room, I will definitely visit again if possible. All thanks to rohit bhai and ankit bhai.
I had a disappointing experience at this hotel primarily because of the hotel owner’s behavior. The owner was unprofessional, uncooperative, and dismissive of genuine concerns raised during the stay. This significantly affected the overall experience and left a negative impression, despite the property having potential.

Best hostel and for solo traveler it's the right place to stay as the staff are very polite and friendly they even help you to travel rishikesh in much more better way
Everything is shit not a good experience
Staff is good just hygiene thing
The stay was budget friendly, but the overall experience was disappointing. The room lacked cleanliness with a dirty floor and a strong smell in the washroom. The staff behaviour was not welcoming, and despite arriving on time, we had to wait around 30 minutes for check-in. Would not recommend based on this experience.
Stay has been quite impeccable. The staff Is quite supportive and make me felt like being at home away home. Activities are zero which is disappointing, hope to have different kind of activities to keep things lively and indoor games must also be there.
