Shalom Hostel Rishikesh

I had a wonderful stay at Shalom Backpackers Rishikesh — it truly felt like a family away from home. The service and cooperation from the staff were excellent. The rooms were very clean, neat, and fresh, which made the stay very comfortable. Special thanks to Anuj and Chavendra — they were extremely friendly and guided us well about places to visit and local arrangements. The overall management and atmosphere were very nice and welcoming. The view of the Ganga from Shalom is beautiful, and the meals were also very good. I would definitely recommend everyone to stay here — it will not disappoint you!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hostel in Rishikesh, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hostel experiences I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome and at home. But what truly stood out was the property in charge, Naveen. Naveen is an absolute gem. Not only is he professional and efficient, but he also goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest has a memorable and comfortable stay. It's rare to find someone so personally involved in the guest experience, but Naveen made sure to interact with everyone, offering help and guidance in any way he could. Whether it was helping with travel arrangements, recommending local spots, or simply chatting about the area, he made sure we were taken care of at all times. The hostel itself was also fantastic—clean, comfortable, and in a prime location with easy access to everything Rishikesh has to offer. The atmosphere was so relaxed and friendly, it felt like home away from home. If you're ever in Rishikesh, this place is an absolute must-stay! A huge thank you to Naveen and the entire team for making my time here so special. I will definitely be back!

I stayed at Shaloms Backpackers during my solo birthday trip to Rishikesh, and honestly, it became one of the most special parts of my journey. From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcomed — it truly felt like being with family while away from home. A special mention to Chavi bhaiya and Anuj bhaiya, whose warmth, kindness, and constant support made my stay unforgettable. They went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable, safe, and at home. Every single staff member was sweet, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile, which made the entire experience even more memorable. This was my first time in Rishikesh, and I genuinely believe it wouldn’t have been the same if I hadn’t stayed at Shaloms Backpackers. The views were beautiful, the food was amazing, and the company I found there made the experience truly wholesome. 10/10 — highly recommended! I will definitely be coming back again.

We had a really nice and peaceful stay with a beautiful Ganga view from our balcony. The location is great, close to cafés and local market, but still quiet and relaxing. The room was clean, spacious, 24/7 hot water, electricity. It felt very safe for us as group of girls, which was very important. The staff was very friendly and supportive. A special thanks to Anuj and Chavindra, who were polite and helpful and always available whenever we needed anything. They guided us for rafting, Ganga Aarti and nearby places to explore, which made our trip much easier. Everything was smooth and well managed throughout our stay. This place truly added to the Rishikesh experience and we would definitely recommend it, especially for girls and group travelers. I had a wonderful stay at this place. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. The location is great, with easy access to nearby attractions and public transport. The attitude of staff was very bad. They keep on coming to room and kept the doors open. When asked to clean the room, one guy came with shoes on and mopped. We asked them to keep the shoes outside, still he didn't agree.
