Stayed here with a group of 10 friends. Overall experience was good. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was polite and helpful. Check-in was smooth and everything was managed well for our group. Special thanks to Shristy at the reception for her support. Had a nice stay and would recommend for groups as well.

I stayed at Shalom Backpackers Udaipur for 3 days and had a really great experience. The place has such a warm and positive atmosphere, especially the rooftop area which was honestly one of my favorite parts. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and a perfect place to relax.
The staff Bhanu, Ranjana, and Raj were all amazing. They were always helpful, kind, and made sure everything was comfortable during my stay. Their behavior felt very genuine and friendly, not just professional.
I have been living outside India for many years, and when I came here, I got a feeling of home again. That comfort and connection is something very special. I truly think places like this are rare in Udaipur
I had an absolutely amazing stay at Shalom Backpackers! The location in the Chand Pole area is unbeatable—it's right near the waterfront, which meant I could easily walk to all the major Old City attractions like Jagdish Temple and Bagore Ki Haveli without having to rely on cabs. The property itself has a fantastic, welcoming vibe, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The absolute highlight was the rooftop cafe; the views over Lake Pichola are stunning. The staff was super friendly and hospitable, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Udaipur!
