Very good location and very nice staff. They even provide breakfast, big rooms and nice decoratin but…. There is a big problem with mold! The smell is terrbile… u cannot breath that kind of air and it is not healthy… no matter for how long u keep the AC open.. the mold is in the walls and then will be in your lungs! Be careful!

Pleasant stay in great location, dorm room was good, staff made up my bed with clean sheets, and towel was proved free of cost. Breakfast was delicious. Excellent customer service, one staff was extremely helpful, he accompanied on the Uber ride and helped me with my luggage which helped me to catch bus with one minute to go! I would stay here again.

Our stay was fantastic. The room was spacious & comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful going out of their way to assist us to organised a scooty. The breakfast made by Chechi was too tasty, she felt us like we are in our house . We would definitely stay here again & highly recommend it to others. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

I had a good stay at Santa Maria Hostel in Fort Kochi. The owner and staff are extremely hospitable and courteous. The place has a gothic but a welcoming vibe, making it perfect for both solo travelers and groups. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location is excellent, close to all the major attractions in Fort Kochi, yet peaceful enough to relax after a long day. with genuine care and kindness from the team. Highly recommended for solo backbackers!

⭐ Very Unprofessional & Unreliable – Ruined Our New Year Plans We booked a room at Santa Maria Hostel, Fort Kochi on 11th November specifically for 31st December New Year’s Eve and planned our trip based on this confirmed booking. Today, 28th November, we were suddenly informed that rooms are not available. This is extremely unprofessional and irresponsible. Cancelling or denying availability for a peak date like New Year after taking an advance booking shows poor management and zero respect for guests’ plans. December 31st is not a random date people plan travel, transport, and celebrations well in advance. Because of their last-minute excuse, we are now stuck searching for accommodation during the busiest and most expensive time of the year in Fort Kochi. ❌ No accountability ❌ No proper explanation ❌ Completely unreliable If you value your time, money, and peace of mind DO NOT trust this hostel, especially for important dates or advance bookings.
