Samantha International

I recently stayed at Samantha International Hostel in Pondicherry, and it was a wonderful experience. The trip itself was amazing, and the hostel played a big part in making it memorable. Prithvi and Babita were incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. They guided me with nearby locations, things to do, and helped me with everything I needed during my stay. One of the highlights was the three adorable small dogs at the hostel. I loved spending time with them — they were playful, cute, and made the stay feel even more homely. The overall atmosphere of the hostel was positive, comfortable, and perfect for travelers looking for a peaceful and supportive place to stay. I genuinely enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend Samantha International Hostel to anyone visiting Pondicherry!

We recently visited Pondicherry and had a truly great experience during our stay. The cozy and comfortable setting makes it an ideal place for both friends and couples to relax and unwind. Surrounded by a natural, biodiversity-rich environment, we felt more connected to nature, which added so much charm to the stay. A special mention goes to Khushi and Black Salt, the friendly cats who made our time there even warmer and more memorable. Their playful and welcoming presence gave the place a homely vibe. I want express the gratitude to the team of samantha International. It was an amazing time what I spent samantha and around auroville. Rooms are spacious,neat and clean and very comfortable. The property is near to svaram sound garden and Matrimandir and all other main spots in auroville. I had two nights dinner there it was out standing and every evening is full events . Over all paisa basul .

Location is okay okay, but it depends on the individual, if someone like to stay far from city and kind of forest area. But the rooms are not upto the mark according to price. No ventilation in the room, wet floor always. Bed sheets kind of feel like sticky. Property is very old. You should not charge at higher price based on the room condition and facilities. Room should have some ventilation, if you cannot manage to do that due to poor building infrastructure, then u can adjust a price a bit.
