We had a wonderful stay at Ostel! The service was really good, and the atmosphere was so nice and welcoming. We had originally planned to go out and explore, but we ended up spending the whole day at the hotel itself because the property was just that beautiful and relaxing. 😍
The staff were very kind and helpful, and they even gave us a lovely tour of the property, which was a great experience.
Our checkout was at 10 AM, but our bus was only at 8 PM. We asked if there was any place where we could stay until then, and they kindly allowed us to use the lounge. The lounge was so cosy and comfortable, which made waiting for our bus much easier.
Overall, we had a really pleasant experience at Ostel and truly appreciated the hospitality and thoughtful service. Would definitely recommend staying here! ❤️

The manager and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They organize fun activities within the hostel, creating a great social vibe, and are always happy to help you plan your stay and recommend local experiences.
The hostel is conveniently located near surfing schools, making it perfect for anyone looking to catch some waves. It's also close to Auroville, which makes exploring the area easy.
Overall, it's an excellent place to stay if you're looking for beautiful views, great hospitality, and a memorable beachside experience. Highly recommended!
Everything was perfect hygiene and very good.
The serve tasty food as well and also they help to engage people and we reached early before the check in time so they have a very esthetic sitting space with lots or games beds sofa with pillows. Also we got some new friends here. Their rooftop area is also very awesome with sea facing view. You can also find lots of people here. Also they arranged a dj night party in a nearby pub. We went there with free enrty and also found lots of people there. Everything was very perfect. I highly recommend the stay here.

If you’re visiting Auroville, Ostel is the perfect place to stay. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by a genuinely kind and accommodating team who make you feel right at home. The hostel is exceptionally clean, thoughtfully maintained, and has a beautiful lounge area that’s perfect for relaxing or connecting with other travelers. What impressed me the most was the incredible value for money, you get far more than you’d expect for the price. Every detail reflects how much the team cares about their guests, making the entire experience comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
We had a pleasant stay. The property was super clean. The housekeeping team has done a great job with the maintenance. Sinchana was a great host. Super friendly. She made sure we all had a great time. The place surprisingly has good food too. I’m definitely going to recommend this to my friends. Thank you for making our Pondy trip worth while.
