I stayed here for one night during my visit to Varkala and had a very pleasant experience. The property was clean, tidy, peaceful, and extremely budget-friendly. One of the highlights of my stay was the small café on the property. The cook prepared excellent food, and I enjoyed it so much that I ordered all my meals from there during my stay. The food was delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was calm and quiet, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. For anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in Varkala, I would highly recommend this place. I would definitely revisit in the future.

The location is truly a hidden gem. The rooms are very cozy.The property itself is an attraction, letting you enjoy beautiful vibe right from within the premises. The owner and manager Bhim are extremely friendly and helpful. The food from the kitchen is tasty and healthy. Highly recommend this place

I travelled solo to Varkala to celebrate my birthday, and after a lot of research, I chose Oceara. It truly felt like home. The peaceful vibe is something special.And they also have a cafe with good food at affordable prices. If you're looking for a safe and budget-friendly stay, this place is definitely worth booking.

Overall, bad service. The doors did not have proper locks from the inside. There was no one available to check me in. The caretaker was careless. I tried to check in at 5:30 PM, and when I asked the caretaker to assist with the check-in, he said he was busy and that I needed to wait until he was free. I also tried contacting the owner using the number provided on Agoda, but my calls were not answered despite several attempts. Response - As we discussed, my main concern was the caretaker’s carelessness. Even you acknowledged that there is room for improvement. I understand that you are trying to maintain a 5-star rating, and I wish you all the best. Regarding my patience, on the day I checked out from your property, I stayed at another property near the helipad area, and everything there was smooth—I did not face any issues.

We had a real good time here. The place is clean with hygienic bathrooms, wide and comfy beds and good a very responsive host. The place has a cafe attached to it serving delicious Paratha and sandwiches with juices. I would recommend Vada pav and chat which is very hard to find in Varkala.
