Nomad House

I stayed at Nomad House in Pondicherry for almost 3 days in Nov 2024 and absolutely loved every bit of it. The place has such a vibrant, welcoming culture, Met people from all over the country and around the world, many of whom I still keep in touch with. It felt like a little family away from home. Kevin, the host, was absolutely wonderful, always around, making sure everyone felt comfortable, who made us feel right at home and cared for. Big thanks to Shashi as well who helped us with our bookings and was super helpful throughout our stay. And how can I forget the heart of the house, Poppy, the friendliest and sweetest dog you’ll ever meet! She added such a homely and warm vibe to the place. From late-night conversations, fun games and even celebrating the birthday of someone I had just met, every moment was filled with laughter, connection and great memories. Highly recommend Nomad House if you’re visiting Pondicherry and looking for more than just a place to crash, it’s a space to connect, share and feel at home.

It was an amazing experience staying in nomad house. Me and my friend together stayed there it's a girls trip and we felt so safe there. It is very near to bus stand so you can walk from there so returning also easy for us. Everything about nomad house is perfect. They have separate female dorm(room) of comprising 4 people . You can meet a really good people there, because we met two femlae solo traveller's it was awesome. You can also rent scooty from them that is much easier to travel.

My friend and I recently stayed at the hostel for three days, and we had a great time. The rooms were daily cleaned and well-maintained, which made my stay very comfortable. The staffs (Ravi and Santosh) were friendly and helpful, always available to assist with anything we needed. The owner (Kevin) was welcoming, making sure we felt at home during our stay. He was curious enough to share stories with us. Overall, it was a pleasant experience for us.

recently stayed at Nomad house in Pondicherry with my 2 friends, and we had a fantastic experience! The hostel had a vibrant and friendly atmosphere, perfect for backpackers . The common areas were lively, making it easy to meet fellow travelers. Would recommend Nomad house if you are going with your girlfriends safest and also with a reasonable price The rooms were clean and comfortable, with cozy bunk beds . The staff was incredibly helpful, providing great recommendations for local sightseeing, cafes, and bike rentals. The location was convenient—close to the beach and major attractions, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, I highly recommend Nomad house if you're looking for an affordable, clean, and social place to stay in Pondicherry. Would definitely stay here again! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

I had a wonderful and comfortable stay during my visit. Hostel is clean and has well-maintained rooms, which added to my overall sense of comfort. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything I needed, making my experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, the location was excellent—conveniently situated near White Town, allowing easy access to key attractions and popular spots. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would highly recommend it to fellow travellers.
