Had a great stay at Hostel Moustache! The property has beautiful views and a peaceful vibe. Met some amazing people during my stay, which made the experience even better. The food was tasty and comforting. Both Serolsar Lake and Raghupur Fort treks were easily accessible from here, and the hostel also provides convenient cab services for nearby travel. HRTC buses are also available on this route, and the hostel is just 200 meters from the main road, making it very easy to reach. A special shout-out to Niket bhai, Nikhil bhai, Laxman bhai, and Namrata ma’am for their warm hospitality. Also, a big thanks to the rest of the team whose names I couldn’t catch — truly appreciate their service and efforts. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay — would definitely recommend and love to visit again!
My stay at Moustache Hostel Shoja was absolutely wonderful. The location itself feels straight out of a postcard — surrounded by peaceful mountains, fresh air, and stunning views all around. If you’re looking to disconnect from the city and reconnect with nature, this place is perfect. The hostel is beautifully maintained, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms are cozy, the beds are comfortable, and the common areas have a warm, homely vibe. The staff deserves special appreciation — they are friendly, helpful, and always ready to make your stay better. Their hospitality truly adds to the overall experience. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast and local dishes. Evenings at the hostel are magical with bonfires, music, and travelers sharing stories. It’s an ideal place for both solo travelers and groups. Overall, Moustache Hostel Shoja is a hidden gem in the mountains. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shoja. Looking forward to staying here again!
Unique location with absolutely mesmerizing views! The hosts, staff, and fellow travelers were all incredibly warm and welcoming. I totally recommend staying here. I would definitely book this place again without a second thought. A special shout-out to Namrata for organizing the trek, evening games, and the bonfire. She truly made the experience even more memorable. Jaanis Café was the cherry on top. We ended up eating there for our entire trip because the food and the vibes were just that amazing. Truly a wonderful stay!
Moustache Shoja was an absolute delight. We had a great experience overall — the service was warm and helpful, the food was delicious, and the vibe of the place was just perfect for a peaceful getaway. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Everything came together really well, making our stay memorable. Would definitely recommend it and would love to visit again.
Wonderful stay w some room for improvement. The location is good but it is lower in the valley (as compared to Odin or Firgun). Nonetheless, you have unobstructed views of the forest which is gorgeous. Rooms are good but they need a heater because otherwise its toooo cold. Hope they sort out electricity - low voltage means no geyser beyond designated hours. Staff was suuuuper friendly and hospitable. No notes on service - simply lovely!
