Really beautiful boutique hotel right across the street from the Jaiselmer Fort. The hostel rooms are clean and spacious and the regular hotel rooms are stunning. The architecture of this hotel is outrageous. I stayed in the hostel but next time would splurge for the regular room. We never ate here… so no comment but we enjoyed street vendor food and drink and a rooftop cafe very close by for Americano coffee and light breakfast. Food was very reasonably priced. The Fort was an amazing destination … really unique architecture… we had a tour guide which was nice but there is more pressure here on tourists to purchase than other places we have been. We did take a lovely cooler morning walk to the lake…10-15 minutes and along the way small local shops for water or chai. The walk from the hostel is absolutely doable in the cooler weather… watch out for the heat. We also enjoyed a nice drink and snack at mugs for buds right along the water.
A beautiful property with amazing hospitality. They let us keep our luggage and rest in common area even though we reached way earlier than the check in time(around 4am). The view from the hostel too is really good. Loved everything about it ❤️
First impression was cozy with the fort view. In fact, the room was dark, dirty and full of live and dead mosquitos. Beddings were so worn. Mattress sunk. The bathroom was disgusting cause after shower, the whole floor was covered with water, bad drainage. There was no hot, only lurk warm water. There was power cut 3 times during a one night stay. Despite having power cut between 8.45-9.45am, the receptionist came to knock on my door at 10am demanding me to check out immediately. He accused me of going back to sleep and gave me 30 mins to vacate the room. He said other guest booked the room. Of course it was a total lie cause I seem to be the only guest there on low season. After knowing I’m moving to a nearby hotel, Hotel Tokyo Palace, the receptionist said he will give me the room because the guests just cancelled 5 mins ago. Pathetic!! If they provided a better service, I could have stayed there. I met the owner (with huge gold earrings) and he was greedy. He tried to sell me the desert overnight tour saying a group was going. The price written on the board was IR/2,500. He said he will offer me a special price for IR/3,100 🤣🤣 Next day, I moved to Hotel Tokyo Palace. The owner offered me a top floor huge room with balcony plus a bath tub. The price was 57% less than dirty small room at Moustache Jaisalmer. They even have a small pool. Avoid this place!! When I checked in, they have with suitcase cause they put pebbles floor between gate and building. When I checked out, they didn’t bother to help. Such a bad experience!
We stayed there for three nights. Abhi is really nice. Rooms are spacious and the view of the fort from their rooftop is really good. They will arrange your airport pick up if needed.
The rooms were clean, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The owner personally greeted us and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Their hospitality truly made a difference. Highly recommend this place!"
